I am on PC, appreciate the feedback. From my research, it doesn't seem to be that much different than 2K19 and with the large amount of mods out there for that, I'm happy to just hang with it another season if 20 isn't worth the investment.

I started a MyLeague with the Cavs. So far I’m running with a lineup of
PG- Garland
SG- Sexton
SF- Osman
PF- Love
C- Thompson
6th- Nance Jr.
7th- Clarkson
8th- Dellavedova
9th- McKinnie

Currently sitting at 6-3. And have looked great on offense one night and absolutely trash the next. Garland just isn’t working out as a starter so thinking of moving him to bench and starting Dellavedova at point. Really liking Sexton at the SG spot and he is averaging 23ppg right now. Going to be a tough week coming up as we play the 76ers twice.

Just finished my first season of MyLeague with the Jazz but I did a fantasy draft and actually ended up with a pretty decent team lead by Luka Doncic.

When healthy my starting lineup usually was
Eric Bledsoe
Eric Gordon
Luka Doncic
Thaddeus Young
Brook Lopez

My roster was fairly injury prone though. I think the only player in the starting lineup that played every game was Lopez and I actually started Marjanovic several games to let Lopez rest some. Doncic missed about 20 games with a high ankle sprain and poor Tim Hardaway Jr. seemed to have injury after injury including, at one point, a broken leg.

At the trade deadline I traded Marvin Williams for Kelly Oubre Jr. which I feel was a positive trade in the end that did attribute to a few more wins. Williams was only maybe getting 15 minutes a game but Oubre instantly became my sixth man and thrived at that role.

Team finished the season with a record of 38-44. We did not make the playoffs but hopefully I can get a decent lottery pick.

Side Question - also running w/ Grizzlies. Who did you sign after 2019? Grizzlies have a lot of cap room but want to sign someone realistic. I find the rebuild extremely easy w/ 1) cap room 2) memphis 1st and the jazz 1st.

I signed Taurien Prince and Bogdan Bogdonovic to reasonable deals. I absolutely love Prince, I really can time his shot and he plays decent enough defense. Bogdnovic gives me a nice playmaking option off the bench.

With the Grizzlies pick (#1) I took Desmond Cooper, and with the Jazz pick (#13, Gobert got hurt) I took Elton Dawkins. I would highly recommending using JB's fictional draft classes if you're on PS4 ... they are fantastic.

Still haven’t started my franchise but last year one issue I had was CPU owners having awful lineup management. For instance Giannis and Middleton are both SFs, but IRL they’ll play Giannis and Middleton in same lineup. However in 2k they’d play like Ilasova and Giannis and Middleton off bench. It was annoying I legit edited positions in all nba so teams would have accurate lineups. Has this stupid thing been sort of fixed this year.

Like NBA players have preferred positions like Hayward is really a SF but currently him and Tatum to extent you could say have been the PFs tho Brad doesn’t believe in traditional positions.

Yes but Rookies and Players with CAP faces don’t have stats recorded.

Wanted to start a MyLeague with a custom Roster !


Is this not possible this year ? every time I go into myLeague I only can use the "Official 2k20 Roster"


this should be possible (last year it was, like every Year)


ist useless to save custom Rosters when you cannot use it


Maybe someone can help me or is this a Bug from 2k20 ?

You can still used custom rosters the same way you could last year. It's the same process except you won't see the prompt at the bottom of the screen telling you to press (Y/Triangle) to load up a custom roster.

Which was not an issue last year IIRC, yet another example of them breaking something that wasn’t broken.

Did some testing in ML for a draft class I'm working on

Sucks to see the G-League issue still persists. Why can't we get a slider for progression in the G-League? How many guys IRL go from getting literally 0 NBA minutes and turn themselves into a quality starter (or better) just by playing other scrubs in the G-League?

After one season, a bunch of undrafted no-names were 77 OVR +, which inflates the free agent pool immensely. Some CPU teams even drop guys (some 1st round picks) on their rookie contract to pick up these G-League heroes, and of course, all the G-League guys request crazy amounts of money because they're typically 25 or younger with a starting-quality rating.

It just.. doesn't make any sense man. It's so lazy. Makes us have to work even harder to balance it out and edit all these guys down season after season.

Just take it out of the game, 2k. NOBODY would miss this.

Im kinda tempted just to roll back to 2K19... Having dated rosters and uniforms and courts and arenas would suck, but I feel like NOBODY is making sliders or anything this year.
