NBA 2K20 on PS4 Pro

I was wondering if people are still experiencing the choppy/sluggish game play on PS4 pro? I remember there was a thread on this a couple of weeks ago but it seems like it's gotten lost in the daily 2K rants.
I am still experiencing the issue and I feel like it's gotten worse not better. I really only play online so I don't know if that is the issue. But when I play on my normal PS4 I don't notice any of the issues above. I play on a gaming monitor (not 4K) at 60hz.

Are yous till experiencing this? Have you fixed it? If so, do you recommend any fixes that I can try? I tried to lowered the resolution (on ps4 pro)to 720p and it killed the picture but didn't seem to help much.

Please help as I am tired of dealing with this.

This doesn't help your problem, but I have had no issues since the launch with my PS4 pro. I run on a 4K monitor.

I have had no issue with 2K20 on the Pro aside from it being loud. I'm playing on the LG86MU8076 tv.

Yes, I'm having the same problem.


Offline is ok, i can't complain.

But online... is unplayable. First quarter is acceptable, but then stuttering makes it literally impossible to play.
I don't know how to fix it: not downgrading resolution, not changing camera, not modifying other option, i've tried almost everything.

My only hope is that 2k is aware of this problem and fixing it...

Yep it was awful for me even offline, the FPS drops made the game unplayable

To those saying they don't have problems - I honestly don't believe you. You very well may have no eye for the frame drops but they're definitely there in playnow online when the shot clock dwindles

I've only played myplayer online so far this year. In Rec I've never had any framerate issues.

No offense or anything man but if every Pro user was having debilitating stutter issues more people would be raising hell. Why lie about something that negatively affects the game? I hope it gets fixed for your guys, though.

It's an HDR problem. That's why you don't see a lot of people complaining about the issue. Most people don't have the pro version and most aren't playing 4K HDR on. The issue is HDR. I have different modes of HDR i can switch between so that's how i figured it out.

I am playing on 4k HDR game mode on my LG OLED and I don't have any issues.

No its not, Im playing 1080p with no hdr on the PS4 Pro and have stuttering. Thought it was better but is still there. Hasn't stopped me playing the game but is very noticeable. I only play 5v5 'regular' 2k

Never had any issues but with previous 2k games after you score or the opponent scores and the ball is being brought up the court, it would stutter alot for like 2 seconds but this was previous years.

Right so in Rec ir occurs but it's extremely rare.

You guys are talking about modes that this doesn't affect and for all intents and purposes derailing the thread.

This is more specifically afflicting 5v5 Play Now Online game modes and is widespread for many users. Not offline, but online. Not mycareer but Play NOW online.

So please - kindly.... Do not post in this thread if you're not affected by the issue in a mode we know it doesn't really affect.
