Freethrows going in at a high %

Anyone notice that Freethrows go in too often. Especially with a bad shooter. I'm just looking for another opinion here. I might be wrong. But it just feels like a lot of them are going in. Or a lot of them get green releases. Like also the green window is just as large for a bad shooter and as a good shooter.

Also does turning off the Shot Meter work for free throws (to get the boost)?

I especially have the feeling that the displayed hit percentages doesn't correlate with the real percentage at all. I mean I have players who are bad free throw shooters and where it displays sth around 60% all of the time (+/- depending on release), but they hit 8 out of 10 shots?! Doesn't make sense at all.

Without slider adjustments it was rare If I didn’t shoot 100% from the line. I put the free throw difficulty at 65 and I shot 55% my last game.

No I have some footage of shooting with a bad shooter. Who got a late release. And the FT% said 90.....And missed lol....

WOW on HOF. That's what I' trying to get at. I've noticed if users get the timing down. That even with a bad shooter. He'll green both like it's nothing.

Am I the only one that felt like free throws were tougher on opening day?. Terrible ft shooter sure but I think I went like 0-10 with Lonzo opening night. And struggled mostly with everyone else.

That seems to be a bug, too. I one time had a very bad release and it said 100% and it missed...

Imagine if you miss 1 shot and then your average percentage can never be 100%..

in JRC i can green pretty much all the free throws with a 70 rating.

thats all you probably need at the moment to hit them all lol.

since 2K11, ive always played with FTs on Real Player % solely because of this fact. I feel like its more of a challenge relying on the percentile than actual skill.

Agree... Just because you know the timing of Chris Dudley ft animation. Doesn't mean you should be squishing free throws.

                            True True.

Pissed a lot of people especially my Cousin because i kinda masterd Shaq and Howard free throw playing with all time magic.

If i shot 50% with them then it was a bad day.

An and1 was a guaranteed make and 2 free throws was pretty much at least a split.

Playing just MLO and quick games, I think Ive missed 1 FT in the past couple weeks lol. Custom sliders but with HOF shooting and FT slider at 85. I basically consider a non-green a miss lol. Bam Adebayo gave me 10 greens on 11 for 11 shooting last night.

Makes me wonder if sliders simply being "custom" rather than HOF simply because of a couple tweaks changes something under the hood.

For my offline MyLeague I'll go Real % no big deal, but for our MLO we can't 100% regulate that. I haven't tried it yet tbh, but Idk yet if the slider on 100 will make too much of a difference.

From a competition standpoint, almost makes me ok with the lack of shooting fouls lol.
