What’s sad to me about all this is that when they fix it, instead of being grateful for them doing that we move on to the next thing we don’t like and complain about that not realizing that’s taking away from just enjoying the game. But hey, what do I know.

My only issue is inconsistency. Having both real life pictures and player models is what's wack. Either have real life pictures properly updated, which isn't hard to do seeing as ESPN does this every single day and the NBA website has them, or only have player models.

Having both is crap because it creates said inconsistency.

I think I know why they haven't updated pictures, as I go thru nba.com, when I click on each teams roster I see a ton of players that need to be have hair updates, it's a lot. I would have issue with players not being updated but having updated portraits, that would be the next complaint. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Its strange because after media day they updated the full body images in the roster menu but not the headshots.

Got the new roster update LeBron with headband etc. But Taco Bell (Fall) is missing on the Celtics

Darius Beazley (Thunder Rookie)


Also Beazley & Kawhi Leonard only get one shoe choice from New Balance. That needs to be fixed

Cavs Shoes with Classic Uniform should be Black with Blue/Orange but in the game they have the default Away Black with Wine/Gold

Your whinning about an avatar picture, instead of the actual players that you play in the game who is not updated yet?? your joking right?? every year this kind of corny threads come out. and really ask why... you are almost the same as the people asking none sense things in shoe threads and people crying about ninja headbands, jerseys and courts which is not in NBA yet or totally out for this year.

It’s crazy man. I wasn’t trying to come at anyone’s neck yesterday but it’s so much more that needs to be fixed in the game. One thing some people here never consider is the fact that 2k released this game in the beginning of sept and the season started last night, so if anything be upset at 2k releasing the game way before the season starts. The problem with the generation we live in is that a lot of these young cats, and some older people too have developed a “microwave mentality” to where they want things right then and right now and lack the patience that others have. I know it’s frustrating to not have the things you want but I’d rather 2k focus on things that really need to be fixed and not focus so much on cosmetic things that we know for sure will be updated at some point.

I'd use cyberface model for everyone if I were 2k. This way as you progress in MyLeague, or teams made trades the portrait would update accordingly. It gets bad quickly, even after 1 season in MyLeague when people change teams.
