Personally, I don't want them to go back to teams keeping the same warmups. In my MyLeague file, I have 2 teams relocated/rebranded, and 8 other teams with different colors. It'd bother me a lot more if they were wearing their old warmups than none at all.

Hopefully, they'll do like expansion teams do, and that's wear generic warmups in the team colors. Or even better, let you select warmups as part of the process.

Being able to select and edit warm ups would be dope and add so much immersion. I’m sure it’s more of a time bandwidth than anything for the dev team, but would be really awesome.

I actually don't think it'd be all that bad if it was simple. There's already some mechanism the game does automatically making warmups for expansion teams. So it's not like every warmup is created from scratch outside the game.

I think the bigger issue would just be loading assets. Doing custom uniforms already kinda strains the game pretty hard from a loading standpoint. Adding things like Warmups and Cheerleader uniforms would probably push the already long load times too far. I'm hopeful that next-gen, with its SSD integration might mean things like being able to do warmups and cheerleaders, maybe being able to use more than 10 assets on a uniform, maybe having baseline images for more custom looks on the floor, and being able to handle more than three rebrands on an offline save.

Because if you're working on console, 10 isn't a whole lot. NBA and Nike logos are 4 out of the 10 right there.

Sure, you can do that, but you'd have to have them spaced out right so you only enlarge at a 1:1 scale so they aren't deformed. It's certainly doable, but more slots would still be nice.

Gotcha. I wish we could just get the jersey template format so we could just make all the layers ourselves including collar and arm trim

That'd be awesome, but I just can't see them moving all that out of game. It'd be really awesome, but I don't see it ever happening.

Not sure if this has been touched on because I have yet to read through the entire topic, but what does everyone use to create/edit logos and stuff? Is it something in-game or and outside program. I have some ideas for a couple of expansion teams that I'd like to work on.

Maybe one of the people doing stuff on PC can help you out. But using the in game creator, that seems like a pretty tough thing to pull off. I did a quick test to see how it'd even work and it did not look good.

Some stuff will work, some won't. I was able to recreate the Raptors City and Earned uniforms from last year with some tweaks. There are other things you can't recreate, or would be extremely difficult to recreate well.

All that said, I've done two Wizards sets for ya. Each one of these takes a few hours to do. I'm honestly just not really interested creatively in spending a few more hours doing yet another set for the Wizards.

Some sixers city jersey concepts I have been working on, just a design from Lance Hinesman I found online...two colours with a liberty bell crack down the front -








Still a few tweaks to fix....

I used to love making jerseys back when the rebrand option first came out in 2K16, you can see a lot of mine if you look back at the old threads, but then I fell out of the way of it because it was too much hassle for such poor quality on console. I've started to really get into it again now that I am on PC.

Latest I have been working on....from this incredibly clean set of designs I found by Dustin Locke. Still one more of the set to do and some fixes and tweaks....
