I got a list of stuff I'm ready to go off this time. A lot of classic players are missing or just have the wrong set up. I've waited for 3 updates to say anything. I'm not playing anymore lol

The only roster update you'll need is mine once I finish this weekend. 2k's tendencies are really off and I also have some different ratings. Everyone check out what I've done so far for a preview before the whole thing is out.

I play PNO. I'm kinda stuck with 2K's roster updates.

It's pretty much the only thing I play.

That why I need these things fixed....

My argument, that certain players have their production ignored? Lol.

So he is clearly far and away better at 3pt shooting than everybody you listed.
I was very clearly illustrating the issues with Trae's 3pt rating by using players in his range. You know, the primary discussion?

So yes I agree with you on Young being way off but trying to put Curry in that way off category is clearly wrong and off base.
Newsflash: There is a difference between calling Curry an overrated shooter and acknowledging that 2K gives him bonus points to his rating. This is something 2K has historically done for MANY players over the last FIFTEEN YEARS.

                  99 Stephen Curry: 446-1054 (42.3%)
                  95 Klay Thompson: 311-757 (41.1%)
                  94 Joe Harris: 187-407 (45.9%)
                  90 J.J. Redick: 276-692 (39.9%)
                  90 Danny Green: 237-554 (42.8%)
                  90 Buddy Hield: 278-651 (42.7%)
                  88 Seth Curry: 134-303 (44.2%)

Curry isn't the only player on his team with a rep-inflated rating.

                    By 2K's Scale:
                    93 (-1) Joe Harris: 187-407 (45.9%)
                    91 (-8) Stephen Curry: 446-1054 (42.3%)
                    91 (+1) Buddy Hield: 278-651 (42.7%)
                    90 (NC) Danny Green: 237-554 (42.8%)
                    90 (+2) Seth Curry: 134-303 (44.2%)
                    89 (-6) Klay Thompson: 311-757 (41.1%)
                    88 (-2) J.J. Redick: 276-692 (39.9%)

                    86 (+2) Paul George: 307-804 (38.2%)
                    86 (+1) James Harden: 426-1165 (36.6%)
                    85 (+1) Damian Lillard: 296-801 (37.0%)
                    84 (-2) Kevin Durant: 172-468 (36.8%)
                    80 (-4) Luka Doncic: 168-514 (32.7%)
                    79 (-3) Trae Young: 156-482 (32.4%)

Curry and Klay have major deviation from scale relative to their peers (while Trae and Luka were only moderately overrated). It's ludicrous to suggest Curry deserves a major boost based on "shot difficulty" (which is already accounted for some in scale) while Harden and Lillard are actually UNDERrated without that factoring that in.

                    Default Shooting Badges
                    Curry: 17 (3 HOF, 14 Gold)
                    Klay: 16 (4 HOF, 9 Gold, 2 Silver)
                    Harris: 8 (6 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze)

Curry/Klay don't need the bonus points. That matters a helluva lot more than an otherwise 2-4 point disadvantage.

Wow, I never thought that on 2ks scale an 80 rating now correlates to that bad percentages. I mean, I know that 80 was just average, but these correlating percentages are just bad.

Honestly, what Rashidi posted was the scale that I was to before (NBA 2K11) they started inflating ratings and giving players stupid badges.

Yeah, for the past several years I had been abiding by that chart from the Mike Wang interview on Complex for 2K16, where a 75 had you at 32%, an 85 at 41%, and an 80 around 35%. And up through 2K19 that was working for me.

But I noticed the CPU's 3-point percentage this year is pretty brutal: about 20-25% in CPU vs. CPU games when the 3PT Success slider is left at 50. If they scaled up the 3PT rating this year without updating the player's ratings accordingly (average rating for guards & wings is still about 80), that might explain it.
