Lol. Don't get me wrong. I hate it just like the next person who don't care for it, but I'm not going to get myself worked up over the "omission" of the option when he never addressed any comments regarding it aside from the "It keeps people from lying on their greens".
It still blows my mind to think that someone suggested this nonsense during one of their "think tank" sessions, and the developers actually implemented it. It's like...how in the hell was this even a problem to address? Maybe I need to follow Twitter and Reddit more closely...but damn...was people actually complaining about this?

2k hasn’t been able to get the movement or realism down in a decade. Players move on the court hunched over. And the transition to dribbling, running and walking just down right sucks. Watch A real game 2k and you would see smooth weighted transitions. Once again we have sliding players that jump in slow motion and show no intelligence on the court. We have no spacing on the court. 10 years of this nonsense.
And when you do fix the nonsense with sliders, they just tune it and you start over with more nonsense than before.

I bought the game on release night. I've been editing draft classes every day since and I've only played about 3 quarters of gameplay in total. I gave up after seeing percentages and green splashes under players. The % can be worked around, and I can only hope that by the time I'm done editing the green splash will have an option to be removed. If not then I really hope I can learn to overcome it.
Did I pick a wrong year to take on a massive project? Did I just waste months of my life? Why do I suddenly feel like puking?Comment

I'm sorry, but to call a game trash due to a visual cue seems over-the-top to me. The visual cue doesn't affect the gameplay. YES, it does affect your reaction or decision making to a particular situation, but it doesn't affect the gameplay. Again, I don't like it either, but I'm not going to stop playing it due to a visual cue that I disagree with. It's not that deep to me, but I don't consider NBA 2K to be the "perfect" basketball game NOR do I ever EXPECT it to be a "perfect" basketball game. They are way too many people playing this game who have different opinions of what a basketball game should be like and what they consider to be important or not important.
The most important thing to me is whether or not I can pick up the controller, and play 1-2 quick games just to blow off some steam or "relax". Does the game pisses me off sometime? Sure, but I also have gotten pissed off in real life basketball games. In fact, I have gotten into actual fist fights over a basketball game. To me, people just need to accept the fact that NBA 2K is not a "perfect" basketball game nor will it reach that standard with current gaming technology.Last edited by ksuttonjr76; 12-13-2019, 05:29 PM.Comment

Dudes are ridiculous as hell regardless....... every patch that gets released has the same exact tone in the comments, it’s never right or good enough and someone will always have something that 2k should’ve fixed that wasn’t included so now they’re a ****ty company with a bunch of lazy devs yada yada yada.......[emoji849]it’s gotten so old for dudes that enjoy the game and wanna read about what has changed for the better to have to siphon through the toxic mess these video game threads have become

Agreed. But it is getting a little tired how so many have complaints and never any positive feedback.
While there are also many things I'd like to see improved, I still respect that all-in-all it's a good game.
However, if 2k did a better job engaging with the community, much of the backlash would subside.
