Peope that quit before the game even started has no bussines talking about winning.

You already lost before the game even started.

I care more about winning that the most of you which is why i dont quit.

My record does reflect this and you can say i dont care about that.

I dont run from a challenge.
I rather not play a full squad but if im playing against 1 , im playing till the end even if its me and 4 AI.

I play with whoever.

I get my A+ grade and stats regardless.
I outplay my matchup regardless.

I love it if people dashboard.
Odds are that the cpu does better anyways lol

I dashboard before the game so it wouldn’t be a cpu lol. Stats are great but I’d prefer to have a competitive game and have fun. I don’t need teammates with bananas stats but I like to have at least one guard who averages over 4 or 5 assists.

Once I’m in a game, I’ll never quit. I’ll run with AI all game if I have to.

Matchmaking in Rec is awful.

I dashboard before the game so it wouldn’t be a cpu lol. Stats are great but I’d prefer to have a competitive game and have fun. I don’t need teammates with bananas stats but I like to have at least one guard who averages over 4 or 5 assists.

Once I’m in a game, I’ll never quit. I’ll run with AI all game if I have to.

True assist is the most telling stat tbh.
Especially for non bigs.

As for dashboarding it depends on when you do it.
As long as its before game on then it fills up with another user.

Had plenty of games where there where AI from tip off lol.

Heck a few games it was me and 4 AI from the start.....

If you quit in the screen that’s loading your teammates, the game doesn’t start. It just replaces you.

You’re free to play your way. I play with randoms In 95% of my games so I’m not stressed about a challenge. But if I can avoid a game with 5 slashers or 4 guys I can tell never pass, I’ll do it. I probably only dashboard out of 1 of 10 pre-games but I got a toddler at home so I’ll try to avoid a 30 minute cluster if I can.

The only bad thing about AIs is if all the guys who quit on your team can’t shoot. They’ll just stand on the perimeter bricking. They’re pretty reliable spot up shooters if the quitter had good shooting stats though. It sucks when no one on your team will let them shoot though. You got a guy doubling up everywhere, leaving his AI wide open and no one will let him shoot. Drives me nuts.

The guard AIs are super cheesable on the perimeter though. I see guys do step back or jab steps all the time for open 3s.

I've had I think 3 rec games over the past couple days that were really good... one we just crushed and we had two ok games. PC community is like L*ve on console, you know everybody already, or I do. A lot of the regulars. Still rec's been good to me, lately.


Most of the regular guys ball, or at least they ball within limitations, then it's just like luck of the draw if you get a bunch of trash people who have no idea how to play. Played a game with 3 ai and 2 players, had a pep talk w/ the team like WE ARE NOT GOING TO LOSE THIS GAME. I've lost enough games against trash people. We won.

Man I just ran 3 straight Rec games with this squad.

I've ran with some good squads but man, we shared the ball like we've been playing together all year. Like up until the last minutes of the game....no one trying to get stats up, just moving the ball. Some good run, man.

Also, the center that got kicked the last match was some kind of god tier Paint Beast. He made the 99 glass cleaner guarding him look like a baby. No gimmicks, just stepping and finishing over everyone. I need to find out his damn vitals or something.

Thanks man! Yeah I was pretty frustrated the last couple of years with finishing inside so I wanted to try and reinvent my offense a bit so I could create for myself enough to be an option at least. I found that catching the ball further from the rim or driving in myself was much more effective than trying to score around the basket with layups, standing dunks or short rolls/cuts.

I’ve tried post scoring before but I’d get impatient when no one would feed me down low and I was never as effective with hooks like you are.

How in the hell do you get your Center to dunk like that??? My Center plays like Shaq without the standing dunks.

The inside standing dunk was half luck/half takeover lol. The driving ones are because I made my guy short enough (6’10) to get to 86 driving dunk to unlock all the contact packages. After that, I just found it’s momentum and angles. If I can change the angle on my drive so the defender isn’t centered between me and the basket, I can trigger contacts pretty consistently. That or if they sit in the restricted area and don’t come out to meet me at all.

Standing dunks are pretty inconsistent so I never feel comfortable relying on them. If you have a small on you they’ll trigger quite often but against other bigs, they’re a toss up. Even if I catch the ball with no one between me and the hoop, I’ll sometimes get pulled into a slow blockable layup.
