Made a video of my last couple of games tonight showing how I like to play offense on my Center from the outside-in. First time mashing something together so I didn’t mess with music or anything (sorry 24). I threw in a few blocks at the end for you though!

It takes entirely too long to get into a game. I suppose I'm a little impatient, but I literally got up, made a sandwich, started eating, realized I didn't have a drink, then went and got one, all before I ended up finally getting into a game. All the while my guy is standing around getting loose and waiting for teammates to show up.

And then we got matched with like a 94 OVR team and run off the court. LOL.

Rec has the same look there were no changes however they finally got the spacing right. Player models are smaller.

Why is it so hard for people to understand how to play the game...

I'm on next gen and a lot of people on friends list dont have next gen yet so it's been randoms, looking for group, and some on friends list.. far from a consistent or decent 5. I'm just wondering... how are SO MANY people this bad / dumb when it comes to the game. This stuff is not rocket science. How do people own a game, play the game for multiple years, and still not learn how to play or win. How does that work, brain wise. Like brain cells wise. This isn't genius-level stuff.

People don't have any consequences, so they don't care about the outcome of the game unless it's a win. I would just think about this the other day. IRL, I would rather play with someone that sucks but tries hard to win versus somebody whi think they're God's gift to the game and doesn't put forth any effort.

On next gen it's awful lol if you don't go in with a squad you'll more than likely get 60 ovr AI players that are like 6'3" no matter what position. They play no defense, and will not shoot the ball when you pass to them... Unless it's a wide-open layup. So you always get double or triple teamed when you have the ball.

It's bad enough that I'd rather have bad randoms on my team. Oh and you will see a minimum of 10 contact dunks a game.

Seems like it should be enough because everyone was playing rec. Park wasn't giving enough rep but they fixed that yesterday. The bots could be just a place holder until more people get the game though, idk. It could also be that a lot of people are making PF builds because the difference in badges you can get from making a 1-3 is crazy.

I would actually like having AI fill in spots for players if it was similar to 18. You had to respect them because they could score and would play decent Defense. 2k should fill in the spots with nba players similar to the other team average overall if they are going to keep AI in the rec.

I think a lot of park players are in Rec right now because the rep is faster which doesn’t help.

I think they fixed park rep yesterday, 2k just needs to do something about the rec bots now. It is rec though, so 2k probably won't do anything about it[emoji854]

I don’t feel like it’s a lack of players but I guess it’s possible. It’s the opposite of previous games - the big positions generally fill while the guards sometimes don’t. Probably because the wavy overpowered PF builds. I think the game defaults to filling with AI too quickly honestly.

As for the experience, ehhhhh I dunno. I have fun because the actual gameplay is better but I think the balancing is going to be a huge issue like I was afraid of. You’d think that with everyone being a Demi god, it would maybe even out but the reality is offense rules the day when online input lag is in play. It’s frankly hard to stay in front of guys unless you gap them but when everyone can shoot, you’re pooched. Once a guy is at your hip, with driving dunk at 95, badges and contacts overtuned - it’s curtains.

I’m exaggerating a slight bit but it’s really tough to defend anyone who can dribble and shoot now. I guess you could call it a “skill gap” but it feels like it came at the expense of basketball IQ and ball movement.
