I can see why they let you dashboard with no penalty.

I had to dash 7 tines before getting a somewhat decent group to run with.

Jeez. Some of these teams of 5 can make you sick to your stomach.

Dashboard give the other team the win and move on.

Shhhhh! Don’t tell people that around here, it makes too much sense! They’d rather you just sit there and deal with jackasses for the entire game.

Enjoying the rec this year its the only mode i.play.

If you squad up with some decent guys you can have great games man no lie.

At first i was sceptical about the quit without penalty but after a while i think it was the most logical thing to do since they added a brain dead cpu.

The thing about the rec that bothers me is the stat sheet pre game and avg team.mate grade.
Its still messed up !!unacceptable!

Yes. Yes, I enjoy it a lot

But then you have nights like tonight where you dashboard 10 straight because every game your on the lower ranked team avg at a 90 vs teams avg at 98 and just get completely destroyed two mins in.

Again. 2k’s poor execution in matchmaking makes a mode that would be endless fun into a chor.

I don’t know how they find a way, but 2k always does, turn gold into a lump of coal.

They just need to first fix teammate grading, then matchmake based on that regardless rank/attribute number

First 5-10 full games should be placement matches to average out your grade, then subsequent games calculate your tier from there.

Tiers should be C- and Below, C to B, B+ and up

Yeah I almost wish if they allow quitting w/o penalty they would limit it to the first quarter or first half, and perhaps not count stats from games where everyone quits early (or maybe scale them so if the game only lasted a quarter multiply all the accumulated stats by 4). It sucks to get in a game, everyone quits instantly and your stats are wrecked (because it counts them as all 0s). Additionally if you use boosts you basically waste boosts in those games since you don't earn any VC.

Gotta look in smaller spaces. If you get v zen then make his life miserable, Win or lose. The problem is when they bust out triple picks and such haha. Dudes chasing. It’s like no stand in the spot u know he’s going and press rs up.

Zen is here, everyone has it. Bigs have it. Fragile egos tho so pop em. Huge chance u can make zen guys quit or sell. I’m proud to be a legit player tbh but I’m passing to my zen guys if they open.

Edit @minsta if u got 87 by maxing stats then u can bang w 99s. It’s a slight disadvantage. If they boost n u not tho it’s a big disadvantage, but u can still win. Boosted glass cleaners give u butter fingers.

Comp Pro Am/ leagues on next gen has been keeping this game alive for me. It's the most fun I've had in a while and the most I've played 2K this deep into the year in a while. Usually I'm winding down by now if not all together done. I play with a group of older heads who get more hype about our defensive rotations than our posters, lol. It's good digital ball. You want to see some good players/squads, look there.

Next gen seems like it's a lot more frustrating for solo guys though. I can't believe they haven't changed the matchmaking system yet and the AI's are still being thrown in so quickly. I understand doing that at the start of the year were not everyone had NG, but man, I feel it'd rather wait a bit longer for 5 humans to play with. At least the zen problem isn't flooding NG like CG. Though there are rumors about some new tech, smdh. I don't even mess with CG anymore unless I'm with my squad. It's a lot easier to shut that stuff down...

IF you turn down the PA volume in your settings it will turn down the music in Rec.

Only thing is you lose the announcer as well.

Really weird when you try and play career again too without the PA until you notice it before halftime. Lol

When the rec game starts, I hit options button to see both teams and what position I am.

I see only my main attribute symbol is next to my name. Other players have both ?

When does it begin to show ? Overall ? Badges ?
