Synergy2K allows you to play out a career in myleague its a tool that allows you to progress based on game stats instead of 2k progression.

I've had a handful of edit requests on the sheet since this thread was bumped, so I just wanted to remind you guys that in order to be able to edit you need to save a copy of the sheet to your own Google Drive.

Agreed. They may not support the mode and provide valuable development to it, but they’ll still have it otherwise they lose a decent chunk of their consumer base.

I haven't tried 2k21 yet, but I'm definitely willing to keep updating this sheet as people have ideas for improvements.

Hey guys, since some people wanted to bring this back up to the top, figured I'd add in something I recently did. One thing that was tough for me was the fact that the trade demand event was so random, it rarely got a superstar to be included. So I made a trade demand generator, if you will, and just named it Likelihood to Leave, or LtL.

Every player starts off with a 20/20 LtL, so they are leaving, and for each of the below things, they get better odds at staying. Once you've gone through all the the factors, you do a random number generator for 1 through 20, or a 20-sided dice if you have one, and if the number lands between 1 and whatever their LtL is, they leave or request a trade. If it's above, they stay.

I have an example player in there, but basically Lines 3-10 in Column A refer to the most recent year, Lines 11-18 are for the three years prior to that. There's also a couple stipulations which are noted in Column A

I only do this for players rated 90 or above though I think you could do it for 87/88 and above, but use it how you see fit. It's meant for star players, not everyone in the league, because they operate on a different level.

I've used it a bit and had great success. Younger players who are on decent teams but haven't quite broken the title barrier yet will stay, but an older player whose team has struggled is more likely to ask out. I've also had some younger players ask out pretty early on despite tough odds, and vice versa for older players, so it adds great variety to the game.

I'm definitely interested to hear feedback and if anyone tries it out.

For conditional events (like player must be in a contract year, or player must be X years old +, etc.), if the player ID doesnt match the event condition, should I just apply it to the player anyways, apply it to the nearest player, or just not apply it?

I like to take the nearest player with similar overall that fits the criteria, if that helps at all.
