Nba2k17 or 2k19 or 2k20?

Which is the best between nba2k17, nba 2k19 and 2k20 in offline ? Motivate your choices thanks

Offline all are solid. 17 was a serious hot mess at launch specially defensive AI being brain dead. But with the patches over that year I feel it’s super fun offline with friends. 20 is solid except for the inability to toggle off the green splash that tells you if the ball is going in the basket. Terrible idea. 19 is okay. 16 is still my favorite this gen. The adaptive AI depending on how you play is still amazing. But as I said, for offline you can’t go wrong with 17 or 20. One thing that might annoy you in 17 is the player models. That’s the year the skinnier players were modeled after Gumby

I would take 19 over the others. There are more MyLeague features plus the servers are still active to download rosters etc. All the patches are done and the community had a full year to work on it.

2K20 is still being tweaked throughout the year, MyLeague not much different.

I agree with GisherJohn24 on this, if you're playing offline like me, they're all amazing but I think 2K20 is the best since it's most up to date. Alternately, I'd go 2K19 with mods and rosters, but why bother? With 2K20 you get WNBA as well.

but do the green lights under the players' feet bug you? this is like a game breaker to me! i just wish somehow the gameplay is so amazing that makes it up (i m still playing on 2k19 and have 2k20 on switch)...

While 2k20 has its pluses, like the shot releases, those **** green lights are just maddening especially in a close games, I am gonna try a 2K19 MyLeague, got an updated roster( start of season) and the player movement is just much better.

It’s a big issue for many. Not all. Knowing you got the green light on a game winning shot before it drops is very disruptive to the player. And If you’re dealing seeing it regularly, it absolutely is a game breaker. I liked the game more when there was no green or shot meter. Needs to be removed or have the ability to disable

I think 20 is smoother than 19. One thing I haven’t seen is flagrant and hard fouls. Yet another reason I miss 16. I remember an animation of draymond Green giving Lebron a forearm to the neck and he got a flagrant. Are used to see all kinds of different animations just for the flagrant hacks alone. Then they just stopped including it. Shame...

haven’t seen those type of animations after 16. It’s always one step forward and 2 steps backwards with 2K

I find the defense in 20 far superior to 19 or 17. IMHO. If you lose a guy it's because you got out of position and got burned. D in 20, that's my 2 cents. More control over the animations, you don't get stuck in animations as much either.

Ok went and tried '20 again and it is a hot mess, the sliding is just ridiculous, there is very little control, it's just a shame where this game is now then when it was first released, the players had weight to them and the clipping was minimal. I would remove the patches but it had the issue of the tooooo many double teams. IMO this series is ruined by these almost daily updates that no one actually knows what was tweaked. Just TERRIBLE!!
