spoiler alert. You know what, tho, that dude was kind of giving it to me when we played. I was like oh we got a rival that's not a Carlton sort like dude was back-when. I long for a kind of magic/bird thing. Dude balls out though.



I figured out what build I was gonna make, 6'8 pf. Was gonna do something crazy this year, esp because I still gotta go next gen. Did that all green with gold play making. Pretty trash in certain spots, but 3 finishing (pro touch buds!), 3 defense (box or rebound chaser aye?), 26 shooting (now pfs can difficult shoot too!), and 20 playmake (all gold but still that's 6 badges +2 just like the shooting is.)


2k decided because I was such a great person in general and because I've given so many helpful suggestions (???) that they'd give me 100k vc + 5k vc with the Dame edition. I was blinking at first, but I decided to accept their gift. So I got a pretty skilled up dude, doin work. Out there BRICKING but at least I can grab a board. Still throwing football dimes off rebs and screaming CUT at the screen when I have the ball in half court.



Surprisingly my dude can contest shots OK inside, too.



Really glad they got rid of the combine. What a waste of time.

I'm guessing they forced MyCareer players to use this modified 2K cam view to better align with the new shot aiming mechanic. I understand that but I never liked the 2K cam. I'm a broadcast type. I still enjoy MC but I cant see myself playing 50 plus games like I did in 2K20 MC with this view.

My brother who I play with is going to play a PG so I want to go SF. Not a big man fan.

The going to same place as Cobb no matter what pick (mine was #1 and #2) is literally ridiculously stupid.

I actually like how they did the Cobb-Junior dynamic compared to the Jackson Ellis or Justice Young relationships. We're both on the Rockets and for me he's been a complete slashing machine which is the perfect compliment to me as a playmaking shot-creator (although they determined me a 3-level scorer).

After about 10-20 games they'll trade him so dont worry about him for too long if he's not your thing. But like I said he's def been more helpful than a burden.

24th, attributes are locked in unfortunately. Speed/Strength/Vertical gradually increase as you increase attributes. Sucks right now cuz I have a 6'9 230lbs SF with a speed of like 64 and it's killing me defensively. Guys like Kyle Korver can blow by me lol.

Made a 6'5" SG with the shooting/finishing (more shooting) pie. A few things...

1. I hate how painfully slow and bad at ballhandling they make your guy to start. Am I not supposed to be a GUARD??

2. It's going to take me forever to get used to the shot aiming. It feels so so unnatural. Combined with my lack of speed or handles to ever get open, I'm lucky to make one jumpshot a game right now.

3. Can't wait until they let me pick the drills I wanna do. That's still a thing right?

Anyone else pick a big man and play through injury? I went PF and this invitational game is impossible. Dude gets by me cuz of the injury so easily.

Is this something that always happens or is there a way to keep him? I haven't played MyCareer yet.

I believe it's a pre-determined element of the story, I could be wrong tho. When you get to influence roster moves just ask management to trade for him if they shipped him already and you want him back.

They go up as you raise your other attributes. So after you dump like 6 points into various attributes, you might see your vertical and strength go up 1.
