Re: OS NBA 2K21 Shoe Vault - Discussion
This has nothing to do with it. 2k received the render from the shoe company. There isn't someone at 2k who is scanning the shoes in. The shoe company does it, along with the colorblocking, and send the file to 2k.Comment

Re: OS NBA 2K21 Shoe Vault - Discussion
How come in the past couple of years it seems to be getting worst? I forgot which year but sometime in 16' or 17' when that hawktastic guy that works for 2k was actually corresponding with fans about getting shoes in the game, the shoes and colorways were being put in the game pretty frequently, almost every other week or something like that. So you're trying to tell me that all 7 shoe companies or however much in the game, are deciding coincidentally to slack off at the same time?
I understand and I don't disagree with the premise that the shoe companies are in complete control of their shoes making it in the game. I just feel like it is an emphasis issue. In the past years, shoes were probably emphasized more than in recent years. In the years they were putting in the shoes frequently they probably made it a point to annoy or do whatever they had to do to get the shoe companies to send the shoe. For example, the Hardens that aren't in this year, in past years they probably would've followed up with Adidas multiple times, where this year, Adidas didn't send the shoe and they just said tough luck and moved on.
I'm just trying to learn how these things work and I am just speculating!
I would really appreciate your guy's input on why this seems to be the case!Comment
