I just bought the game and since I really like to customize the players, I wish to know, is there still a limit on the shoes we can create? I reached it unknowingly in 2K20, but wanted to know if there’s still a limit and how many shoes we can create?

I only know of next gen, but there's still a limit on there. I'm not sure what it is tho. Many have said it's def more than last gen and hardly any have actually reached that limit so If you're on NG you should be good.

Easily 3-400 shoes can be created. I quoted someone earlier in the thread that said it was 500.

Happy to see all of these get in the game but I wish they didn't add them so late into the NBA season. I was also hoping we'd get the Lebron 18 Lows, D.O.N. Issue 3, and the Trae Youngs. I guess it's good to know that these will all likely be in 2K22 at launch.

Gotta update Bogi to the adidas crazy BYW 2 that he wears.

Players switch up shoes too often for me to keep up with the latest. Even tho I have him in Adidas with all his other jerseys since I think he's signed to Adidas now but any player wearing Kobe's at least one game trumps all other shoes in his honor on my roster

I'm over the kobe homage. I'm beyond over the weird custom shoe color thing going on. Guess I'm just hip enough...its hideous watching games now.

I'm looking forward to when guys won't just be wearing the Kobe 6s every game. I get the honor thing but c'mon. Mix it up some.

My roster is probably the most versatile on here. As far as Kobe's, there are over 15 models (almost a hundred different colors) of Kobe's in the game and I've seen every model worn by players throughout the league this year and they're wearing them on my roster. It's more than honor and homage thing, they're actually good shoes and player's actually wear them (some exclusively because that was their GOAT).
