    Seems like you are no longer allowed to change your freelance with the on-the-fly-menu...caused this error 8 times in a row for me. Sometimes it doesn't though...and sometimes I will have a disconnect no matter what im doing or not doing...

      I have to admit I have had these kinds of disconnects only in the following scenarios in NBA 2k21 (on PC):


      - randomly when accessing the uniform selector prior to an MLO game
      - when changing matchups using the matchup menu in the pause screen
      - when changing the system proficiency in the pause menu.


      What I successfully do, without resulting in a disconnect:


      - change matchups and other defensive settings using the defensive settings menu in the pause screen
      - change coach and controller settings in the pause screen
      - change the freelance using the on the fly menus

        See now my experience on the Nintendo Switch has been the complete opposite....

        Call a freelance play on the fly & boom... Gameplay error has occurred.
        Pause the game & make substitutions & boom... Gameplay error has occurred.
        Adjust coaching options before tipoff even happens, or after it happens, doesn't matter when & boom... Gameplay error has occurred.
        I've had this issue since NBA2K21 launched & 2K has done done nothing to fix it. I had an issue for a while that would give me that error if I hit a perfect release on the first free throw, but oddly enough, ONLY the first free throw, but a patch/update a few weeks back eliminated that, but as of this last week the "gameplay error" message is happening more & more & it's driving me insane because it can happen right out of the gate, or seconds before the game is over. I see others have this issue but they seem to be for different reasons & I see no fix in sight...
        I've reinstalled the game twice, didn't fix it. I've cleared the cache, no use. The only thing that I haven't tried is adjusting my router settings via computer because I don't own a laptop or desktop. Other than that, I've exhausted every avenue with 2K support, & besides the router option, the only thing I think it could be is on the Nintendo end of it, meaning either I have a faulty console or a faulty game cartridge.

          the fix is on 2ks side. These kind of Bugs exist since many many years.
