I would love to read these "rules" that game developers and companies are supposed to follow when it comes to advertising. It seems that I missed that chapter when I was taking college course in Business management.

Lol can’t escape from politics even on 2k/

If this is the case, I will never buy another NBA2k game ever. I don't have NBA2k21, I was waiting till closer to the real season, and to see if they fixed all the issues. I could live with some ads, but not political ones, especially if they are bias ads in support of 1 candidate or party over the other.
So if this is true about a Maria Taylor promoting voting for any candidate, I will never give 2k another penny of my money. Now 2k is no better than the fake news media as far as I'm concerned. And I would'nt like it even if was a ad promoting anyone from the party I vote for as well. There are some things, like sports and video games, where politics should never be mentioned.

I think my real POV is that they are kind of moralizing. I know this is like LeBron James advertising, but if they are gonna put it on their game, why not do something about the toxic place they call park?

I mean, it might seem like a weird to connect the two things, to say poverty, whatever, to nba 2k park, but check this, imagine your life is awful and you are playing 2k and feeling the ad then get on the park and it's like AUGH.

This is where people go to escape their life problems, even if they aren't sim ballers they don't want the bs they are going to encounter, 2k's neighborhood should be a fun place to escape and yea maybe even do some things that aren't real basketball, if you want to. Is that what it is?

Just another reason why I'm not buying NBA 2K and won't and haven't since 2K18. It is sad that 2K hit it's peak of enjoyability in 2010 with 2K11.
