EA did it with the move to Frostbite, and it does get a bit stale for those of us who keep seeing the exact same legacy animations something like 8 years in a row now.
How's Frostbite working out for them?

Are all the legacy issues gone from FIFA, Madden, Live? (when it exists). Why not? They have a new "engine"?. For all the "savvy" marketing talk you do, you fell for the most elementary version of it.

Maybe 2K calling their changes something new would make you or others feel better, that's not for me though. I didn't say anything about expectations, they can vary...especially here...I'm talking about the reality of what was actually said. I'll let you get back to your company oppression dissertations though, don't let my "defending" slow you down.

Czar has said that 2K doesn't have an "engine"; it's different systems working together. Passing is its own thing. Shooting is it's own thing. Motion is it's own thing. All the systems work together. It's clear that work has gone into the different systems. It's not perfect but it's better. It's still 2K at the end of the day and that isnt gonna change. I started playing with 2K2 and while the game has changed significantly since then, at its core, 2K21 still feels like 2K. It's how they program basketball games.

I was hoping that for the next gen 2k would have "built from the ground up" or at least streamline the whole system of attributes and tendencies, but I guess I was too much naive.

Maybe next year, or maybe never since the park/pro am community probably doesnt even know what tendencies are nor give a f* about them.

Finally, the question I have been waiting to get answered...

For anyone who has played 2K21 on both last gen and next gen, if I save my roster will it carry over to the new gen?

I'm assuming not but still need to hear the correct answer 100%.
