Re: Questions that need answers for ROSTER MAKERS (XBOX NEW GEN)
Player DNA is Appearance, Attributes, etc.
If you're loading your roster into a MyLeague, then all the attributes will be exactly the same. The only thing you're changing in this instance is the contract (i.e. you don't need to re-edit the player)Last edited by Real2KInsider; 12-26-2020, 07:02 AM.NBA 2K25 Roster: Real 2K Rosters - Modern Era

Re: Questions that need answers for ROSTER MAKERS (XBOX NEW GEN)
Are you perhaps assigning the DNA to a team using Copy to Team? If so then the contract indeed becomes a minimum. You have to Import DNA within the Edit Player interface for the contract info to transferComment

Re: Questions that need answers for ROSTER MAKERS (XBOX NEW GEN)
I’m telling you guys I did it that way....maybe its new gen, but when I import the dna for the newly contractual players it resets contract value to default. I’ll try again.Comment

Re: Questions that need answers for ROSTER MAKERS (XBOX NEW GEN)
Good to know. Im on current gen so thats my vantage point. Honestly ive always hated how contracts are considered part of the Attributes section of DNA. Is it associated with Appearance on next gen, or is it just glitchy?Comment

Re: Questions that need answers for ROSTER MAKERS (XBOX NEW GEN)
If it's demonstrably happening on Next-Gen, I would submit a bug report to 2K Support. That at least adds it to the queue of things to get patched/fixed.NBA 2K25 Roster: Real 2K Rosters - Modern Era

Re: Questions that need answers for ROSTER MAKERS (XBOX NEW GEN)
What if I already finished editing some players? Can I only import the contract and keep all the changes I've made? If so then how do I do that (step by step please?)Comment

Re: Questions that need answers for ROSTER MAKERS (XBOX NEW GEN)
I don't think you're quite understanding what's going on.
Setup a season with MyLeague.
Load your roster.
Raise the salary cap etc, turn user control on for whatever teams.
Start the season.
Go to the team/player. This is your player, from your roster.
Edit the Contract.
Export Player DNA.
Exit MyLeague.
Load Roster.
Go to the player.
Edit player, Import DNA
Everything is exactly the same except you edited their contract.Last edited by Real2KInsider; 12-31-2020, 01:17 PM.NBA 2K25 Roster: Real 2K Rosters - Modern Era

Footnote: “Edit the contract” could be editing it within the Edit Player screen, or you could set the player as a 2-way, waive him, then re-sign him immediately at the number you want. This is useful for 1-year contracts at a number you can’t get in the Edit Player screen, or for multi-year contracts that start at such a number.
(The reason you set the player as a 2-way before waiving is because then you don’t have to wait for him to clear waivers; you can re-sign him immediately at whatever number you want.)Comment

Oh, so you're saying to start a MyLeague just for the sole purpose of enabling this contract to happen once I quit the league. Now I think I got it.I don't think you're quite understanding what's going on.
