I saw one last night for the first time this year. Etwaun Moore sprained his elbow trying to fight through a screen. That is the only one.

I’m used to doing rebuilding but instead I decided to take the Lakers and kind of keep the dynasty going and get Bron as many rings as possible. I also decided to bring back the Triangle and see what I can do with Bron/AD and try to make the Triangle a permanent staple Laker lore

So we are currently in the middle of March 2022 of my Spurs league. During February we were absolutely struggling. We couldn’t score enough points to win games. I desperately needed to make a move, so I made a trade. To bring some extra offense in, I traded Jrue Holiday, Paul Millsap, and Kevon Looney to the Rockets for John Wall, Tyler Johnson, and Shaquille Harrison.



I also made an adjustment to my freelance sets. I started running the Point freelance with my starters, and when the bench came in I run the Princeton Chin offense. These two things have led us on an absolute tear. We are currently on a 9 game winning streak. Our offense is flowing and our defense has been nothing short of incredible.



This has put us at 31-18, which places us 2nd in the West (Lakers are in first at 35-15, Mavs are in 3rd at 30-18).



To put the finishing touches on my roster in preparation for the playoff run, I sign Jahlil Okafor to a one-year contract. His passing ability is much better than my previous backup center (Usman Garuba), so the Princeton Chin will flow better through him with my backups.



As usual, here are my current leaders in stats:



PPG - John Wall - 16.1

RPG - Clint Capela - 11.7

APG - John Wall - 8.6

SPG - Jonathan Isaac - 1.3

BPG - Jonathan Isaac - 2.2



Isaac is an absolute beast. He’s the only guy I’ve ever had that I can actually guard Lebron with. And any time there is a mismatch on him on offense, he automatically posts up and we get an easy two points. He’s quickly become one of my favorite players on this game.

This sounds like how I approach my Lakers. I created a playbook and we run the Triangle thru AD and Bron... when I have the reserves in I switch my freelance to Floppy series and get my shooters various looks and pin downs. It’s awesome. As long as Bron and AD is on the floor or even just one I run my Triangle thru them

I've decided to start my MyLeague, too. Just one question: Campazzo isn't in the game yet, but I can easily create him in the middle of the season via player DNA, right?

Decided to start with the Suns. CP3 is one of my favorite players of all time, but I never played him on 2k because I never really liked his teams. The Suns are perfect for what I love for a team in franchise modes: Long history, without winning it. Playoff drought. Obvious flaws.

Has anyone hit year 2-3 to see if the Intangibles Rating has broken the league with ridiculously high overalls and everyone getting massive contracts?

I can’t even start a my nba season. Every time I try to start after importing custom rosters it crashes after the select teams option.

As someone who still is on last gen, what options does the game have for playoff format? Did they add in the play-in tournament or other options that were discussed prior to the bubble?

The game won't let you put a contract higher than 36 million through editing. A legacy issue of course.

Only way to break that level is to hope 2K enters it, or edit the contract as an extension, but then the values won't be right because as soon as you edit the contract number, it resets to the min value. Again, a legacy issue.

The Max Contract should have be changed to at least 50 million years ago.

I currently have a MyLeague going with the Spurs. I’m about to start my second season. During the first season I made some moves to try to bring in some guys to fit my defensive system.



I ended up trading for Jrue Holiday, Clint Capela, and Kevon Looney (which brought me in a ‘22 first round pick from the Warriors as well). This costed me Lamarcus Aldridge, Derrick White, Rudy Gay, Jakob Poeltl, and Lonnie Walker.



We finished the season with a 44-38 record, which put us in 6th place in the West. We lost to Golden State in the 2nd Round.



Coming into the off-season I was planning on re-signing Derozan and Patty Mills and filling in the other spots with re-signees and mid-level guys. However, as soon as I saw Jonathan Isaac my plans changed. I renounced Derozan and Mills (only way I could create the cap space) and then went after Isaac. The Magic let me have him (at 4 years, ~24M/year). This left me enough cap space to pick up Paul Millsap and Danny Green, as well as re-sign my other guys.



We also decided to bring Popovich back in.



So I’m going into season 2 with this lineup:



PG - Dejounte Murray, Tre Jones

SG - Jrue Holiday, Keldon Johnson, Danny Green, Edmond Sumner

SF - Jonathan Isaac, Devin Vassell

PF - Paul Millsap, Keita Bates-Diop, Luka Samanic, Usman Garuba

C - Clint Capela, Kevon Looney



This puts me at 4 and a half stars of System Proficiency. We will be relying on our lockdown defense and on offense we will look for Murray, Holiday, and Capela creating with the pick and roll.

Use/create a costum roster with potentials, peak start/end and intangibles edits, or every time after 3-4 years you’ll have 120 or more 80+ OVR. 2K just give 80-85 potential to literally everyone
