He plays with Bobby Portis as much as he does Giannis. The way he is used next to the former clearly differs from next to the latter.
He also rolled towards the rim in just about every PNR.

I also want to point out that most of what was showed in OP's video is actually not much different from what the defaults do. The shot charts in particular. The game is already mostly rim / threes without much mid-range.

I put in additional research to follow up on my initial post. It's called "supporting your argument."

What were your findings when you tried out his roster edits? Did you find the on court play to be inaccurate? Just wondering since they are for PS5 only and I can't try them myself.

I do not have a PS5. My points were specifically about talking points mentioned in the video that I found to be misleading. This edit is about how OP eyeballs the Bucks (i.e. creating instances he wants to see more of in-game), rather than reflecting any sort of real-life tendency data.

The Bucks offense is much more than just spreading the offense for Point-Giannis on every single possession. Only 39% of Giannis' possessions are "on-ball", which is LOW for a modern star (Luka 70%, Harden 68%, LeBron 55%, Westbrook 53%, Embiid 51%, etc).

The Bucks play team basketball. Middleton (47%) and Holiday (45%) are doing most of the Bucks shot creation in the half-court. Giannis gets his offense from being so efficient & opportunistic, rather than anything schematically.

Giannis lead the league in Transition possessions (411 - Only three other players even topped 300). Transition makes up 26% of his possessions, among the league leaders, and easily the most for a PF/C. He isn't dominant in the half-court, which is the biggest critique of him across his career.

It is one thing to boldly "claim" improvement / realism and then present unvetted work. People in the community run wild with this stuff and are quick to attack 2K without really having any understanding of what they are doing right.

Showcasing a video where Giannis dropped 64 points on 39 FGA and claiming correct usage is just simply not accurate.

From the limited box presented we also see Bobby Portis took 5 shots (and had 5 assists?) in 26 minutes. So yeah I mean I don't want to criticize OP too much but very clearly the focus was on an imagined idea of one player on the team and maximizing that, without much focus on how the rest of the team plays. This attempted to do a specific thing to the gameplay, and accomplished it. Whether the change was correct is another story entirely.

TLDR Roster work is very hard. I encourage the promotion of roster work but most of it is Fools Gold & Snakeoil Sales.
