Am I only one who thinks the 21 lighting keeps looking better than their adjustments in 22? The colors are less washed on 22 but with that skin tones are darker. You can literally make these changes on your TV settings. Graphically the games appear identical.

I like the color palette for the uniforms in 2K22 they look more rich and vibrant. Compared to the washed-out colors in 2k21. I like the Kemba screenshot, but has I mentioned before his skin tone is a shade too dark. 2K got his skin tone spot on in 19 and 20.

Well said, The real MSG and TD Garden have been missing in 2K. Either the rights are too expensive or EA still owns them.

I wish they would release the player’s rating with his screenshot. They used to do this in the past 2Ks and it would creat buzz and anticipation. I wonder why they’re not doing that anymore. Maybe they will have an event or stream for the ratings reveal or something.

I can't believe it's 15 years since they introduced sig shots.

It seems normal now, but I went through every player on every roster in 2K7 trying out their shooting styles being amazed players jump shots looked like their counterparts.

EA got there grubby hands on em. At least they use it whenever they have an NBA out. Unlike the ESPN license.

Same! I can remember playing the hell out of that demo and a big reason why was because of the sig shots. Dirk shooting like Dirk was a big one for me but also seeing Wade shoot like Wade, Terry shoot like Terry, or even someone like Antoine Walker having a sig shot. Playing that game, and even the demo, is one of my fondest videogame memories.

Same for me as well! I think 2K has taken a step or two back in the authenticity department. Most if not all sig shots are inaccurate and have remain the same for quite some time now!

I also feel like they’ve taken some sigs away? What happened to the Jordan post fade sig? Now next gen has literally like only 4 generic post fade sigs.

That was the year that pushed me to finally hunker down and buy a 360. I actually had the PS2 version of NBA 2K7 at first and if I recall correctly, they had signature shots too, but only, like, 10. I feel like guys like Peja, LeBron, and Kobe had them but not many others. Even in such a limited capacity it was still pretty awesome.

Am I crazy for thinking that some signatures have actually gone backward a little over the years? I feel like things got kind of muddled once 2K separated the upper torso release and lower torso set.

Yeah, they've removed a ton of good animations (post, stepback, pull - up, etc.) that have yet to be replaced (with better animations).

Hopefully, as they get deeper into the "new gen" consoles the animation base can drastically (or moderately) increase.

What an egregious thing to say. Derozan isn't even the runner up "Mr. Toronto Raptor." Bosh is.

Eyes still make players look like zombies.

                              Ridiculous.

Even Live 19, from years ago had more alive looking players.

The pic looks flat chested. 2K needs to give this man some chest
