Re: OS NBA 2K22 Shoe Vault - Discussion
Lol, people will say "why aren't you trying harder?" or "why don't you buy the shoe and scan it yourself?" I'm sure there are tons of moving pieces that have to happen between both the game and the shoe companies.Comment

Re: OS NBA 2K22 Shoe Vault - Discussion
I don’t think people wanting shoes to at least be in the game, not even mentioning Colorways which is a shame we’ll never get those again is that bad? It’s November 9 and we don’t even have Lebron’s new shoe in. How people gonna blame the consumer for not being happy about that?🥴Comment

Because they act like the game is unplayable without those sneakers in.

I’m sure they still play it, just as I do. They have a right to be annoyed at 2k just like they’re annoyed by you being so annoyed at them. We’ll all be okay. I personally enjoy most aspects of this sub thread. The creations, the suggestions, the complaints, and the excitement when Pc asset files dude alerts us to new shoes waiting on release. ****’s going to be slow whether there was ever gonna be complaints or not.Comment

Re: OS NBA 2K22 Shoe Vault - Discussion
Obviously, it sucks to have to wait to get certain shoes in the game. Especially the ones that are frequently in use (Lebron 19, Freak 3, Exhibit A). I also understand that there are things behind the scenes that probably need to be worked out between 2K and the shoe companies.
I'd just like some information on what goes into getting a shoe model included. For instance, 2K recently added the Curry 9 from Under Armour and the MB.01 from Puma. If Under Armour provided details of the Curry 9 to 2K then why not provide details for the Spawn 3 or FUTR X. Same with Puma, why not include details of the Fusion Nitro and Triple Threat to go along with the MB.01.Comment

A lot of the player models may be in , maybe some of that is the player or Steph's team pushing to make sure his shoes are in. Makes sense that the player exclusive shoes especially the MB.01's which im guessing due to his popularity are gonna fly off shelves,.
Another thing could be maybe all he companies got their shoes in early in the season and 2k has like 10 shoes to wrk on optimizing and it make take them time to do that.'
And you bring up UA, they have the same process with the other games. They are not in madden at all (not sure if they are actually in the NFL at all this year), and in MLB they didnt have ANY updated models the whole seasonLast edited by lemarflacco; 11-09-2021, 04:59 PM.Comment

On the other hand, people chose to demand stuff like it had to be there ASAP the year after, then everything went downhill.

Re: OS NBA 2K22 Shoe Vault - Discussion
When folks used to play nice (which was until the 2K17 Shoe Vault thread), we got colorways updated every so often. I remember LaVine wore the Dark Knight Kobe V's, someone requested it from Brett Hawkins, and it got added in a couple days later. Heck, someone even made a special request for AD's Air Max Dominate PE with the different Swoosh placement, and it got added as an editable shoe.
On the other hand, people chose to demand stuff like it had to be there ASAP the year after, then everything went downhill.
Annoyed is one thing. Demanding for something repeatedly, even when it's already been explained properly — over and over again, year after year — that a shoe isn't going to make it in just because they ask for it is another thing.
I haven't seen anyone do anything different than what you stated in your first paragraph. I don't know where you differentiating between "asking" and "demanding" Legit shoes are missing from the game and I think people have a right to be vocal about it because that's usually how you get a video game company to listen (and with your wallet)Comment

So it's cool to say "Just go buy the shoe and scan it in!", even when the developers are, most likely, bound to a contract that states what shoes make it in? Even when it's already been explained, since the 2K17 thread, that this is the case?
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
Look, I get the complaints about modern day shoes. I'm with it when people wish they'd make it in game. I remember how it took hella long for the Harden Vol. 2 to make it in before. I remember how the Harden Vol. 5 was mad late last season, so I'm in that boat that gets frustrated, but, AS AN ADULT, I understand that the developers' hands are tied when it comes to what sneakers make it in and when they make it in.Last edited by rwntrl; 11-09-2021, 09:14 PM.Dubs, Niners, GiantsComment

Re: OS NBA 2K22 Shoe Vault - Discussion
We’re in 2021, pretty much 2022, making excuses for 2k is pretty much annoying atp, y’all see how they treat the roster editors, and my league, and pretty much everything in the game besides my career, they could care less about us, that means shoes as well, some of y’all keep sitting and acting like it’s not a problem, when it’s a huge problem along with the other things that’s wrong with 2k, 2k pretty much went HollywoodLast edited by itrey25; 11-09-2021, 09:48 PM.My Teams

Re: OS NBA 2K22 Shoe Vault - Discussion
The reason why they only put like five new sneakers in the game is the same reason they release the game with bugs. They don't have no competition. They know people want more sneakers in the game and they probably have it ready to go but they in no hurry. They gonna throw more sneakers in the game but only on their pace because they have no competition. Hell we can get new sneakers in tomorrow morning or early next year. It's up to them.Comment
