That "tirade" and the constant complaining/arguing (especially when the process has now been explained for numerous years in numerous shoe - dedicated threads) is exactly why there is little communication between 2K & OS members.

What good is being upset/"militant" on OS, complaining for the million time and bogging down this thread (which can be a great source for colorways, shoe "drop" info, etc).

We all want the same thing and that is for the shoes to be updated in a timely manner, unfortunately it's out of everyone here's control. We all understand this, yet the same complaints happen year after year after year.

Calm down, get out of your feelings about shoes in a video game, have patience and hopefully they'll be included soon.

Especially when we are living in unprecedented times (for any of our generations) and this is meant to be fun and a distraction.

If not, then look for the appropriate outlets to vent your frustrations and just edit the models we have in - game. Simple as that.....

Thank you man last year I kept telling some of these people who were complaining about how 2K goes about scanning these sneakers. And was met with “That’s not an excuse”. But yeah my bad if I steered the convo in the wrong way. Wasn’t my intention at all, was just sick of the complaining and not posting sneakers.

It's not it an excuse, man.

2K & their licensing partners (the shoe companies) have to collaborate on which shoes and when their added.

Clearly, the game has become less and less of a priority for the shoe manufacturers, especially since performance models (90% of the shoes we want in) don't have street/casual appeal, and even Nike isn't in a rush to have LeBron or Giannis in their signature shoes (in - game).

It's the reality of the situation and coming in here complaining annually won't change that.


We all want more shoe models, 2K created PE's/colorways, etc.

I'm sure people like Brett (and his colleagues) that are sneakerheads would love have all they needed models in yesterday. Things are being held up for some unknown reasons.

Or the game and/or the missing shoes aren't hitting on some "metric" the companies use (everything is about metrics and sales, now), thus making them even less important in the grand scheme of thing.

Wouldn't be surprised if in the future we see these signature models in stuff like Facebook's Metaverse before 2K, since they can be monetized (virtually) by the shoe companies on that platform.

The hell does 2k shoes have to do with that lmao 2k never crossed my mind when on stockx buying a pair of kobes. You also act like there arent any shoes in the game lol the season is less than a month old and they WILL get the shoes in like they ALWAYS do. they dont work on nor have they agreed to your arbitrary timeline

Man, some people need to step away from the keyboard or phone and take a breath.

This **** really isn't this serious. There are plenty of shoes in - game to recreate colorways and PE's with and nearly half the league wears Kobe's, anyway.


This situation is very similar to the McFarlane NBA figurines that I used to collect (still have a good amount to this day). They used to be pretty detailed and had officially licensed shoes from Nike, Adidas, Jordan Brand (maybe a few more), but unfortunately those licenses were lost (maybe they became less of a "priority" to have them, I guess) and they went with generic shoes.

Well, I looked up why the licenses weren't renewed, but never found a definitive answer and so I stopped collecting them (also the level of detail went downhill).

That's the thing, if something isn't to your standard or is unable to meet your expectations then you can stop supporting it. Point blank.

Coming here to complain to other gamers - who have no control or ability to effect when shoes are added - on an annual basis is Einstein's definition of insanity.

Either find the appropriate outlet (which seems to be Twitter) or move on from the series until they make shoes a bigger priority, again.

All of this back and forth is nauseating and derailing the thread of it's intended purpose.
