Westbrook committed a foul he put his hands on his knees as if he was tired and Lebron came over and put his arm around him talking in his ear.

Re: NBA 2K22 - The Little Things
I also noticed more team chemistry moments. I saw a player come over and lift the chin of his teammate and pat on him on the chest I think. Not sure if that was supposed to happen but it reminded me of Jaylen Hands/ Moses Brown back at UCLA

Re: NBA 2K22 - The Little Things
I thought I was tripping when it happened, and idk if it was in 2K21 but the ball rolled to a person in the front row behind the basket and they picked it up and passed it to Ja Morant. I wish I could’ve recorded it it was literally a member of the crowd. Still shocked, some parts of the game definitely feel more alive.
Also, not sure if this is little, but the falling I’ve seen after dunks have been beautiful and realistic, miss or make. Same with ball tracking, good shot blockers literally watch the ball and go for it with purpose most of the time. It’s amazing to see.Comment

Re: NBA 2K22 - The Little Things
Was playing Dallas and luka dončić got fouled. The cool thing about it was with the way he got fouled he than shot the ball so he would get a foul shot out of it instead of just taking the ball out has it was a type of foul that he wasn't shooting at first.Comment

Re: NBA 2K22 - The Little Things
Fans wearing jerseys in the stands now have player numbers on them.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe this hasn’t been the case in previous games? I mean… it should have always been in the game but I feel like this is new. Maybe it was in 2k21 next Gen but I never noticed.
I saw three different numbers, of the three top players on the roster. However… the player name is not listed, only the number.
I’m still happy with it.Comment

Re: NBA 2K22 - The Little Things
This was in 2K21 next gen...and it is a PS5 only feature, but I thought I'd mention it anyway...
Fatigue results in the PS5 controller getting much heavier / tighter. It is really cool to feel the difference as you pass from a tired player to a fresh sub and feel how much looser the controller is. Really makes fatigue an issue. (Same as FIFA 21)Comment

Re: NBA 2K22 - The Little Things
I thought this was super cool. I put DeMarcus Cousins back on the Kings in one of my MyLeagues, and the PA announcer had the same exact call for him as when he was on the Kings. Same deal with Melo and the Knicks and the iconic, "Carmelooooo ANThony!"
this PA call: https://youtu.be/qKMY-eHanvM?t=90
This PA feature is honestly one of, if not, my favorite thing 2k has ever done. Makes the games super fun. Never enjoyed playing against the CPU like this before.. not to mention the gameplay being great in of itself.Last edited by ryan4131; 09-12-2021, 12:09 AM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K22 - The Little Things
I believe this is new but I was shocked when I saw this, players now have specific accessories for injuries, if a player has a broken hand you’ll see some type of bandage or tape on their hand, The same thing goes for knee braces for knee injuries, you can see these different type of accessories when you edit a player in MyNBA and change their injury status, the game automatically applies these accessories for injured players now.Comment

Re: NBA 2K22 - The Little Things
I traded CJ McCollum for Ben Simmons in MyNBA. I played the first game against the Kings. During halftime the crew brought up the trade and showed it. Kenny even commented on how Ben Simmons is a great piece to build around because of all he does on the court. I never expected this to be in the halftime show. 2K did their thing this year. I was disappointed in MyNBA blog but I have been pleasantly surprised with the mode. Iron out these bugs and I'm golden, man.

Re: NBA 2K22 - The Little Things
Yep. And even better, in the same game, Greg Anthony mentioned how sometimes things dont work out with the team that drafts you and you have to move on talking about Simmons. I just finished another game vs the Suns and Grant Hill talked about Simmons and the 76ers going separate ways. 2K put in some work this year.
