Another issue most noticeable on the horribly low res team-choose screen, is fact that they give these dudes football linebacker legs. NBA players have skinny *** legs and these dudes walking around with melon calves.

I think body types must be identical to 21 but the legs are especially pronounced there.

For what it’s worth I kind of agree with you about the darker skinned players being almost too dark and losing detail as a result. It’s something I noticed independently with players like Anunoby, Bobby Portis, and a few others.

Agreed.

I’ve been playing between both games back to back for hours. I don’t care what anyone says man…. Aside from jersey colors, I kinda think the atmosphere and graphics of 2K21 pop more. I don’t really see any graphical improvement in 2K22. Maybe a very slight bit in some details. But I also see some regressions I feel What I see is jersey color improvement.

Anyone go play on the current Pistons court on 2K21 then 2K22. Tell me the 22 Pistons court with its white/undefined wood looks better than the 21 court. I’ll call you nuts.

Maybe I just gotta get used to it.

Lemme correct that. I think CERTAIN things about 21 pops more. Certainly not the overall game nor overall graphics. Courts pop more, for example. Maybe it’s the neon colors or something that makes it seem that way. There’s a sobriety to 22’s colors that are far more realistic in every aspect except for some courts.

I also realized you don’t get those awesome alternate “hidden” courts the Heat and Nets (and maybe other teams) had in 2K21 when you selected retro or alternate jerseys.

I saw the video you posted but when I actually play both games on my TV, 2K22 looks better.
