LMAO I’m not referencing that. I’m referencing the fact that they implied offline changes go through a process that takes time and the fact that they SPECIFICALLY said there were no gameplay changes in last week’s patch, AFTER the patch dropped, which was blatantly false.

But I’m sure ya’ll have an excuse for that too.

This is probably the worst launch of a game I’ve seen. The fact that they showed zero gameplay before launch and kept everything guarded into days leading up starts to make sense.

People always claim that it's because 2K is the only basketball game on the market. But, if any freaking video game stresses you out that much to where you're coming online to complain 25 times a day, then you probably shouldn't be playing it.

True. It's not like I've never read these comments before. Seems like people are LOOKING for a reason to be mad, so they can post as much negative comments as possible.

Then when people try to make rational comments (and could be AGREEING with the negative comment), these people act like they live in a reality that's different from everyone else, and their rational comments are just paid 2K excuses.

You're right. If a game stresses me out that much, I'm going to stop playing it like I did with 2K21 next gen. I might express my personal reasons for not liking the game, but it would NOT be a personal obsession or agenda to try and drag the game through the mud at every single opportunity.

We both know they made gameplay changes in each of the patches last week. I trust that every member on this forum isn’t imagining things. I’ve been building rosters and not motivated to play enough since I can’t get broadcast on MyNBA, so I haven’t played since the patches.

Did they not explicitly say that the patches (at least the first patch from last week) did not touch gameplay? Wouldn’t that be lying? I can answer that, as I recall they did say that there were no gameplay changes. And according to every single person here, each update saw gameplay changes.

Some of you are attempting to gaslight this as if we’re yelling “2K is the worst trash company in history and I’m never buying another one of their games again!” because that makes defending clear faults easier.

Maybe dumping the only basketball game isn’t an option for people. Maybe the game is so close to being ideal if it weren’t for glitches that make it unplayable or unenjoyable. Glitches that if resolved can instantly turn the game into a favorite immersive hobby.

If everyone just walked away from products they want to like but need work, a lot of product would sell far less.

As for supporting companies who “lie,” uhhhh yeah. Most companies are dishonest and “crooks.” And we still buy their stuff. This is no different.

This is the first 2k that I didn't scream at the tv. Lol Except for that one layup animation where your player exposes the ball for a block. He's under the rim and kinda leans back and slowly goes up. I hate that animation.

What an odd thing to say. They can make an incredibly complex game that is (bugs aside) a fantastic piece of software, and yet you somehow think they don't have the manpower or skills to identify why a camera option is missing from the menu in MyNBA mode?

I know its complex.

Which is why i dont run my mouth saying its should be easy for them to do this or do that.

You have to factor in the users that say it and then look at the theme of all their posts…… it’s very obvious what their agenda is……. I say it a lot but social media (specifically Twitter) has hurt gaming tremendously IMO

It completely changed but it might have been the roster update to. Before a few days ago on default all star I couldn't score and I found both me and the CPU couldn't get past players of the dribble and that even big slow guys could defend smaller faster guys on the outside. I had put lateral quickness and on ball defense at 40 and was seeing much better results. Then the patch/roster update came out and now both me and CPU get past defenders much easier had to turn on ball defense and lateral quickness up now have them at 47 and starting to think 48 might be a good number. 48 seems to play how 40 played before.
