Didn’t see it mentioned but they also added ability to change and see play types now with old setting instead of workaround.

Much more convenient when creating playbooks.

Sometimes when they announce new likenesses in a patch, they don't actually take effect until the next roster update (usually very soon thereafter; next day at the latest). In other words, the patch includes the actual facescan data, then a roster update assigns the face to the player in the official roster. For most NBA players with generic faces, 2k assigned a unique face ID number anyway this year so that once they install the facescan data, it should automatically be assigned (if I'm understanding correctly), but maybe those four WNBA players were oversights.



Not making excuses, and I always thought it was dumb of them to advertise new facescans in a patch that don't actually appear once you've downloaded the patch, but just offering an explanation. You will likely see the facescans very soon, and for good measure you may want to tweet at Mike Stauffer just to make sure they won't overlook assigning those facescans in the next roster update.

Richaun Holmes looks like the only one on the list that I noticed that didn’t actually get updated, the rest seem to be in so idk what’s going on there

For those that have updated is the defense still solid. Thats my biggest concern with any of these updates.

Actually, it is different this year. The player Appearance tab is now no longer available for any of the CURRENT team players who have generic renders. This allows 2K to automatically add the newly updated renders in the game via Patch and not have to wait on a roster update to get them in. Previously the generic renders were assigned a -1 for their Face ID but now every player on the current teams is assigned their own specific face ID even the generic renders.

Players also may not always receive a face render update in the patch updates as some of the Likeness updates are simply tattoo updates.

I do wonder about a player like Pete Maravich that was in the patch notes as being updated but his render did not receive a change and he did not have tattoos to update either. Not sure why he was listed but I will inquire and find out.

They need to look into the Image Upload issue. We can’t upload designs or anything for Team Relocation, MyTeam, and ProAm.

Maybe the MyCareer ProAm guys could make some noise since 2K only listens to the online community.

MYNBA mode is in sich a bad state. Hard to believe they still haven't corrected the 90 overall plus players in Free Agency and did you guys know that there is NO WAY to view your Team Chemistry % in MYNBA mode. They literally left it out and yes I have it turned on in options.

The thing I always find funny about player likeness updates is that they can be out of date in a matter of weeks, sometimes days. It'll be interesting to see who needs to be updated once the season starts and players are sporting new hair styles, beard styles, tattoos, etc.

Not complaining though. Been playing these games before the days of roster updates, back when I'd be tracking player movement and manually updating rosters, so I definitely appreciate that appearance updates are even possible. Just sucks how quickly these updates can become outdated.

They really need to fix whatever is causing the Series X to shut off during games. Had it happen 4 times in a row today while trying to complete the Brickley's quest. Doesn't seem to happen during normal games, thankfully.

THANKFULLY all these updates apply to current modified rosters. At least visual likeness updates do (not sure how technical gameplay updates would work but I’m assuming we won’t see those).

What about G league players showing up in myNBA whatever it's called now. Dudes rated in the 90s I just turn it off as a workaround but still. Don't care about headbands...

Didn’t they say they fixed that in a previous updated? SMH if they didn’t. MyNBA is a buggy mess. Just little simple problems. A fix for the G league issue is delete your entire G league roster. They’ll fill it with more realistic player attributes.

I’d like to manually fill my g league teams with real free agents but someone said it glitched their MyNBA from working at all. So might be worth a try but have a separate roster save ready if it doesn’t.
