    i fixed every shooting tendency for every player check out my roster but im trying to get the percentages right in game its like each will start off hot then the percentages drop significantly as they fatigue so im working on a slider set to match

      It’s funny because in 2k21 I was frustrated that my sim stat 3PAs for teams ranged from like mid 30s to high 40s. Maybe 2k was just prescient, lol

        for me i edit the sliders and playbooks. im able to average 40 3 pointers per game in cpu vs cpu games, and thats after toning it down after a game where both teams took 50+. i customized the play priority for each player so guys who shoot 3s have 3 pointer as their top play. i also filled each teams playbook with 3 point plays with high success rate. with the 3 point slider at 100 i was seeing too many, now I've toned it down to 50 and average about 40 3 pointers per game. I've also tweaked several other sliders which effect the defense, how well they can cover players and how much the ball handler cares about the proximity of defenders when deciding when to shoot. I think its silly you have to go to these measures, but I am very happy with how easy its been to get the cpu to attempt that many 3 point attempts compared to past games.

          Yea I had to edit all those as well. The only thing I dont really see is the deep three (Dame, Trae, Steph,etc...) Now I havent played Steph or Dame but I've played Trae.

          Even with me editing his 3pt tendency, he wouldn't just come down and chunk up a long a** three. Would of like to see that ever now and then. I thought it would be tied to a badge in where the CPU would be hard-coded to take that type of shot if the player had that badge.

          But I haven't tested it enough. Maybe someone has seen the CPU chunk up deep threes early in the shot clock.

                Is this achievable only with editing sliders and playbooks? I feel like I’ve tried every slider adjustment possible and after every update all the CPU wants to do is charge in with their ballhandler for a horrendous stupidly contested hopeless layup. With the lack of fouls you’re pretty much guaranteed to have mediocre PGs go 1/9 while the opposing big will end the half with 4 easy peasy blocks.

                    I have cpu inside and close at 43 just tried a game at 35 and I have 3 and midrange at 100 and I still have a hard time getting cpu to take enough 3s at times. I think I am going to go extreme in my next game and try 0 for both inside and close and see if that will get cpu to take more 3s or not.

                      Just played against the Warriors in myleague and they went 17/40 from 3 default sliders on everything

                      So it is possible for the CPU to shoot this many 3s, however the Warriors only had 18 points in the paint which is too low.

                      This game may have been an anomaly.

                      I have a lot of size on my team, so maybe the AI figured they weren't gonna get much inside, but the Warriors only ended up with 87 points.

                        I have no idea how you got CPU to take that many 3s and to score that few points in paint and on default seems impossible. Have a hard time getting them to shot that many 3s with 3s maxed out and I don't think I have seen CPU only 18 pip even in just 3 quarters before even with 3s and midrange up.

                          I've made some of these changes. It's been decent so far. I would love to know which 3pt plays are solid for you. I might even edit playbooks a tad. It would be great to have at least 1 or 2 good 3pt plays in some of these older pbs i like to run for fun.

                          I've actually been trying to figure out what makes a player a good 3pt shooter. Like is there 3 badges i can add to a player to make him a 36%+ and a list of badges to make someone a close to 40%


                          I kinda just wanna get the 3pt shooting right.

                            If you chance inside shots and close shots and midrange and 3 pt sliders and attack basket and offensive awareness you will see 3 point shots. I have had a game where CPU shot 50 times from 3 and a few other games of like 40-45. So yeah I found the right spot. I forget what I have those at will have to look later but I have noticed with offensive awareness at 60 CPU shots more 3 pointers. At 55 CPU tries to force there way into the paint more. I am not sure about 56-59.
