This is the 2nd time they've broke My Career with a patch (crashes at the end of every game), so I'm giving up on the mode and just gonna add a custom player to franchise. Tired of playing 12 minute quarters just to see it all washed down the drain.

Y’all really think they’ll “fix it” for 2K23? Lol. Talk about massochism aiding a cycle. They already fixed it, it was called 2K22 launch version.

Sure, they’ll plug their new “help defense” for 23 like they did 22, put blogs out for it, Czar will put up cool videos showing how good it is, everyone will get gassed up to buy it. Maybe they’ll include authentic player chatter as their next gimmick to hype us up. Maybe some courts will be a little less washed out.

Then in a couple weeks the basement dwellers will whine it out with a patch. And then we’ll “have to wait for 2K24.”

Time to face that this game will never have proper defense. They had it, and they lost it. I didn’t even see people complain about help D! Any complaints were for the on ball D. And they kept that yet trashed the help D.

That tells us how the future of 2K will look in that regard. 2K22 was the test. And they’ve spoken loud and clear.

To be honest, the game was hard as hell in its launch version. But it felt realistic, outside of maybe the magnet perimeter D. Now I can turbo zigzag across the court and beat defenders again. Not 2K21 easy, but those bad habits learned from it now somewhat pay off. I feel even the on ball D relaxed a bit after the patch.

Had to restart my MyNBA that would crash at the load screen after the patch. My new MyNBA, after a couple games, started crashing at the halftime show. Now I have to roll the dice each game and hope it doesn’t do that.

Patch from hell.

I play MY-NBA and i really want to see "TEAM CHEMISTRY", also would be happy when 2K fixes glitches who remained for years in this mode.

Unbalanced Gameplay (Against CPU with Player-Lock) should be patched. Online and Offline gameplay / AI should be separated in future editions.

For Full-Price and "so called" Next-Gen, it's a failure for me.

2K...Please just design a new engine and drop off the old PS3 gameplay-code.

all those names in player updates but only 6-7 are updated, they do this every patch notes

Still no City uniforms for Jazz and Suns on PS4. They were the first two to debut.

Before this patch were the real PA announcers working for classic teams? Because now…..they are not. What happened???

The announcers have turned out to be more stress than they’re worth for me. My bulls announcer doesn’t announce any classic Bulls on my custom roster (putting them on the current Bulls). But nearly every other team’s announcers announce ANY classic players, even ones not originally on the teams. Yet the Bulls PA doesn’t announce MJ, Pippen or Rodman? What kinda bs. With those guys, even with some current players I’ve traded to the team, the generic 2K PA announces their names after baskets or at intros.

To make it even more ridiculous. I have Porzingis and Jamal Murray on my Bulls. The real Bulls PA announces Porzingis’s name during intros and baskets, but Jamal gets the generic 2K PA like the historic players do?

It’s a mess.

Weirdest part is if I swap team designs to another Bulls design in MyNBA, the Bulls PA announces historic players’ baskets, but mostly (if always) without actually saying their names.

I edited my rosters to have both classic and current players on them. So in my 2Kverse, the classic players who don’t get their names called are on current teams. Namely the Bulls as other teams seem to have their PA’s say classic player names in their patented styles.

With the Bulls PA, he doesn’t even say random current player’s names if they traded to the Bulls.
