Got the same update this AM.

Finding driving to the paint easier on my end, but I was absolutely dog**** at it before so my word means nothing.
Happy for the fastbreak fix, that was one annoying issue.

For face scans, yes.

But someone like Poole is just a hair update, which can simply be a graphic change.

D'Angelo Russel has about 8 hair choices on next gen...no way they scanned him 8 times...

Just seems very random. L

Something to keep in mind, may be harder to take a player with full dreads and a ponytail like he does in game and give them a low-cut

I am pretty sure he’s talking about MyCareer mode. For the last 2 years at least, there is basically no presentation. If you play MyCareer and then play a Playnow game or something, it’s night and day. I almost exclusively played MyCareer and played a Playnow game and was in awe of the presentation.

For some very silly reason in MyCareer, they cut all of that out to instead focus on your player actually like being on the court or something to hear chatter. It’s just a very bad decision and makes MyCareer very bland.




Don’t get your hopes up. They are not adding presentation to MyCareer if that’s what you’re talking about this year. Hopefully, someone smartens up and adds it back next year. It’s no reason to have all that good presentation not be added to the mode.

They didn't take it out on purpose. You can tell by how weird it is that it's a bug/glitch. For example, I think last year (maybe this year too) an incentive to get more VC was to be player of the game 10 times - but without the broadcast element - how could anyone know? Also I glitched into a mobile 1 replay last year. And the biggest case this is a glitch is that if you're playing college or highschool or d-league you got replays and they only vanished for the NBA (last year since I skipped everything this year straight to nba). Add on top of that, all the sponsors wouldn't be cool with their omission from that one mode at the nba level (state farm, mobil 1, new balance etc etc) So this was obviously a mistake, but one that they either can't fix because it breaks something else or something they are unwilling to put the work in to fix it. There is NO WAY they aren't aware of this issue.

It may not be the most popular mode, but I'm sure loads of people play it. It makes no sense either because you can create a player (or use an nba player) and player lock in another mode and everything is there. It's super annoying to me and you're right, I bet they don't fix it, but I'm also not kidding either - I'm going to play here and there for the next couple months then I'm done and not buying next year or any year until that is fixed. sometimes I can't stand 2k man.

I think they did. I don’t think they purposely took out replays but all the other presentation I feel like they did because if not, how is an entire presentation gone and not addressed in 2 years? I can also tell by how they added the focus on your MyPlayer. For example, when you go to the FT line, it zooms close to your player and cut off the announcers just so you can hear the chatter. When you get subbed out or subbed in and during the beginning of the games it does the same thing.

So I believe the presentation as far as seeing pregame intros, seeing the little player interviews during the game, graphics of the league leaders and etc isn’t a glitch. I do believe replays is but it’s not that important to them.

Ehhh, it's not. Except on really old scans (like guys on the older historic teams not named Bill Russell, Magic Johnson, etc.), body and hair are separate. There are tools on PC that allow you to easily mix and match distinct elements of cyberfaces, and you can easily move one guy's hair to another. Sometimes it's not a clean fit, like if someone has a complex hairdo that was specifically made for them, but real-life Jordan Poole has the most generic hairdo possible right now (outside of being literally bald). There's really no good reason for him to not be right. It's quick and easy on PC, and it'd no doubt be quicker and easier for the actual devs with real dev tools at their disposal.

Also, FWIW, there was a glitch on 2k21 (that I think they quickly fixed) where doing something to Jordan Poole (like adjusting height or changing accessories; can't remember) removed his hair, and I remember from that that his base model is totally normal. There's nothing unique about his model that would interfere with slapping a plain ol' buzz or crew cut on him.

I've always been a defender of 2K against the "they need to update his hair" complaints, because often the complainers are complaining about them not INSTANTLY updating the game to reflect some dramatically different hairstyle that a player has suddenly debuted (and that they abandon pretty quickly, like Steph's cornrows), but I'm sympathetic to the Jordan Poole complaint, since in real life he has the most generic hairdo possible and he's had it for over a year now. Weird. :shrug:

Please for the love of a good all around experience! Allow the music soundtrack to play during the menus perusing . It’s annoying to have dead silence during pause and postgame menus.

MyNBA/PS5/Pro Default with all foul sliders cranked to 100 except illegal screens.

I went to the line 10 times
New Jersey 16

My CPU teammate was called for a shooting foul on a three.

Several blocking fouls, fouls on drives, Charging and reach in’s

So it was encouraging to see.

Yet the CPU didnt get a shooting foul on you in perimeter and 3 point shot.

How long before they fixed a small issue. cranking 100 on shooting fouls and not a single call.

What about fixing in-game injuries in MyNBA?



Three years and counting without in-game injuries (or more?), talk about legacy issues.



The new training management in MyNBA has no sense at all with injuries never happening to your team. We are still forced to simulate a parallel season that simulates injuries to your own team. At least I'm glad we have this possibility.

What do you mean simulate a parallel season? Cuz like you I'm getting no in-game injuries and I play every game
