I can't even get my app to work for PSN. On Friday it just kept saying Failed to connect to PSN.

Just now tried again and all it says is say "success"....

Delete and reinstall. It works for me now but my scans look ugly

Had a great scan on the first try ( android phone / ps5) but too bad cant edit the nose since 2k doesnt scan the noses well theyre all flat and that has been the issue for years .

So just wanted to report that I could finally login after updating the app. Should have gone with my first scan as I got a funky nose on the second. The third time was the charm though. Speaking of noses, it actually got mine right on the first and third tries. If you get a decent scan, just go with it. It doesn’t quite look like you until you pick a hairstyle and change the coloring and do all the edits you can. I ended up with one of my best likenesses in 2K through the years so I think they’ve made some improvements.

This the first year I had no problems doing my scan. Got it on the 3rd try.
While editing, my psn signed me out, so that was the only thing. Got back in in 2 mins and I was good to go. Hope the rest of y'all have a good experience once you can get on

I still remember the hideous abominations from the first year of this feature. Back then there was no fancy phone app, just the very poor PS camera. I spent hours just trying to get it to successfully capture a scan, only to be terrified of the result.

Thanks, I actually didn't do anything but tried it just now and it allowed me to login to PSN and I did my face scan.

I wish it would go ahead and try to bring it in without me having to go to my PS5 to finish because I'm sure I'll have to redo it. But at least it took it and it's progress.

Guys, I'm VERY HAPPY to admit I was wrong, not sure why, but I was soooo wrong.

I got my face scan ON THE FIRST TRY!!

I was absolutely floored, and it looks almost exactly like me too..

so happy and hopeful it's this easy next year..

I followed the same process I have for the past six or so editions of 2K I've owned.

1. Shave, get hair just right

2. Download the wrong app, delete, Google to find the name of the right app

3. Go find natural light in a different room so my GF doesn't judge me

4. Look on in horror as I review the various photos my phone captured of me looking as unattractive as possible

5. Find my image on 2K and cycle through all the hair style possibilities as my GF walks in the room and begins to laugh

6. Pleasantly surprised with my likeness

7. Start a MyCareer with high hopes

8. Quickly reminded that MyCareer is a bizarre grind where I follow a pre-determined storyline where I'm dating my publicist

9. Never touch the mode again

10. Wish my likeness were available in single player offline

I tried again last night and im still getting the face that everyone else is getting. I never had a problem with any previous 2ks, they always came out spot on

what phone? i used iPhone max pro 13 this year, I don't know if that's why it worked first time or I just got lucky

Well I had an iPhone 11 two years ago when I tried for about 6 hours and ended up giving up. Last year I don't even think I tried. So I don't have ANY idea if it's your iPhone (probably not) but just saying, maybe it is better with newer phones ?

I used 13 pro max as well and had zero issues yesterday (my day 1 with game and app). Upload came out smooth minus not hiding my dreads properly
