      I have been working through some uniforms that we dont see in the game and adding them to my Eras save...

        The biggest change that needs to happen is Body Types and texture quality. Cameras also need updated

            I just happened to see these on Reddit and had to find this person's work.






            2K should be ashamed of how bad some of these look compared to this guy's Mods.

              I do know if I can play 2K24 on consoles if the player faces don't look as quality as these. I will say that some of those mods didn't look quite as good in the arena environment as they do in the still photos; most did.

                I subscribe to his Patreon and use these cyberfaces. They're fantastic. That's why it rings hollow to me when I hear the excuse for that horrible Anthony Edwards model: "But he won't sit for a face scan!" Then make one from scratch like modders do! Don't you say you don't have time; he was the #1 pick, not some random two-way player.

                    I’ve always said that 2k’s scanning technology has ruined the aesthetic in many ways. It has made the art team lazy. If they can’t get someone to come and sit down for a scan, they don’t even bother to update. Like won’t even bother putting their art skills to use. This is why we’ve gone 5 straight years with the exact same Bron model. It’s ridiculous. They take too much pride in their technology, which isn’t even that great.

                      Those cyber face mods are the exact reason 2k is ducking releasing “next gen” on PC. They will be held accountable for how little effort goes into player models. It has become glaringly obvious they care for nothing but art assets they can monetise and everything else has become near enough is good enough or they’ll get to it 3months after release

                          It’s looking more and more likely they they don’t actually employ anyone that can render non scanned players. It’s just technicians that know how to operate the scanning cameras and put that scan in game. Hence why if a player isn’t scanned they look horrible

                            Than my next question would be how are they able to improve MJ and Kobe's face but not others that they can't get scanned? Still doesn't add up.

                              I would say that falls under the only capable non scanned player render creator they have Razor_2k who does all the historic player renders. Current players they seem to not have anyone who is capable of creating good looking cyber faces without scanning

                                And to my understanding Razor is given a list of guys 2k wants him to do and he has to go off that list
