Looks like today they put some guys in the correct shoe brand finally like Fred Vanvleet, RJ Hampton, Justin Holiday are wearing LiNing

Nice to see they finally fixed Vanvleet. I always hated how you can't assign LiNing or Peak to players unless they are already signed to them.

Did Keldon Johnson become a Li-Ning athlete during the offseason?

2K has him in Li-Ning, but I'm not sure if he rocks them exclusively IRL.

For whatever reason, the game hasn't allowed those brands to be an option to assign to a player. It's been like that for the past 3 or 4 seasons now. The game has to pre-assign those brands to a player.

For whatever reason, the game hasn't allowed those brands to be an option to assign to a player. It's been like that for the past 3 or 4 seasons now. The game has to pre-assign those brands to a player.

Those brands aren't official partners of the NBA, thus 2K isn't "allowed" to let us assign them to players. Or that has been the understanding in the past.
