The extensive last name database.

2K really has no business having that many last names read into the database by Kevin Harlan and company. But lo and behold, just when you think you've got a player obscure enough to slip past, you realize the game does, in fact, recognize Michael Ansley and Russ Schoene.

So, shout out to 2K and shout out to Kevin Harlan for literally reading the NBA Phone Book.

Even the announcers say them all, even 20 years into the future when it's all created players. It's incredible.

Saw Kyrie Irving have to be held back by his teammates because he was trying to get after the ref, after the ref had called a shooting foul on him. Have never seen a player react to a foul like that, makes me wonder if they did something “special” with Kyrie.

nah i've seen that happen before, usually happens when they're already down big in my experience. and i know it's not based on player either bc i've seen kawhi do it [emoji88]

Never seen this before. Harden drives to the basket and gets fouled. Meanwhile, Horford comes over goaltends. They count the basket and I get one free throw. perfect spot for a glitch but they did just right got one made the Free throw took the three points.

I made it to the finals and noticed teams have the finals logo on the back of their jersey where the NBA logo usually is, which is cool. For some reason they don't also have the finals motif on the court though.

So, Im going to to discuss this a bit more in my franchise recap for 2006-07, but wow.

So Im at the first round of the playoffs, Game 6 Lakers v Warriors and Kobe is pissed. He made 13 3 Pointers and had 57 points.

When he tied the 2nd top 3 pointers, they discussed it in the broadcast.. when he tied for the leading 3 pointers in the playoffs, they discussed it in the broadcast.

When he made the 12th 3 pointer? They exclaimed and announced he did and then the Warriors called a timeout and he walked over holding his arms up.

Then when he made his 13th, they said he had the 3rd highest point total in the NBA Playoffs ever (in my save) with 57.
