Does the Switch version have the same features as PC or PS5? Era, etc.

My doubt regards the ability tu run plays from the CPU; from the video that Ataman posted (GS vs BOS), the CPU often forces the dribble inside the restricted area instead researching an open shoot from the arc. If you compare to next gen you'll see a lot of drive and kick from CPU and a lot of three points attemps.
Thanks for the impressions Goma76. I noticed that cpu paint aggression as well in ataman's video. Last year the CPU NBA players habitually tried to score in the paint as if their loved ones were being held hostage and the only way to save them from harm was to score in the paint. I know Czar said there were limitations to how they can program the offense/defense on last gen but I was hoping they were a little more aware of other methods of scoring on the court. Maybe sliders can help..
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

Wow, I'm playing Eras and maybe its me but this game is just something else. Amidst a few things missing, it makes me feel really nostalgic just watching some CPU games.

I watched Lakers v Celtics go at it like I was watching it live in the 80s.

        Well done 2K.

It was beyond frustrating. Also, the movement sliders didn't seem to work either in 22. Has that been resolved? Do you guys feel it plays different enough to recommend a purchase? I'm on PC.
It is fixed, it plays way different to me. There are so many minor additions that i can't even tell them, so many nuances all over the floor all the time. It's like every other move has different outcomes and plays smooth. I wouldn't go as far as recommending a purchase cause it's your decision at the end of the day. But i'd answer your questions..

Defense is fixed there are many nuances similar to NG. And to my surprise without even knowing that Czar made a video about i also was trying explain stuff i see about ai and this came up from my stream playing the 2 which is split.

Yes but the thing is i also play with a camera angle that i'm mostly off and leaving driving lanes open at times, so yes there are those instances but add that i'm not really playing a good d and covering driving lanes as i should as it's a really brand new game i think i should adjust to shading etc..

And times that i play good d also cpu responds with some goodies, too.. Like oo moments with decision making. I'll upload part 2 then after maybe an awful PNO game and then some little stuff nuances that i was in awe with me as well as cpu. But yes aggresivity is there, i see what you mean but there needs to be more to be seen to decide what.

And overall i really didn't feel 2k22 aggresive driving but moreso open lane driving that i go bad on d. Maybe for another look i feel not so aggresive because of better game speed and animation blending, too. I don't know seeing and feeling is kinda different but i understood offense part let's see.

Yea i played a full Hawks(me) vs Pelicans game and they were all agressive to the rim a lot. Valan and Zion were forcing the issue, and also Valan took post fadeaways 3-4 times.

Part 2 of your GSW/BOS video sold me ataman5. CPU offense looked much better in the second half. Movement looks better but that's something you can't really judge until you play it. I'm hoping the cyberface mods for 2k22 on PC also work on 23. I couldn't view your other video that you embedded with Czar's..

Yea pretty unfortunate as it hit by copyright strikes prolly for the ingame music, it's been 5 years since i last did a live stream and so there were no music be played back then i forgot things i will cut and upload as a part to my channel.

And yes on that 2nd half they were really jelling on offense. But again on my last game vs Pelicans they were all forcing the issue, too. I don't know really..

I know Zion and Val are bangers down low in the paint but Ingram and CJ should be more perimeter oriented. I bet Zion has a higher touches rating than anyone else on the Pelicans which may explain why he was getting/taking all those shots in the paint. What difficulty are you playing on?

I don't want to start a new thread, so I have read thru and it seems that PS4 & XboxOne got improvements. So would just seeing if the Users would recommend buy it for PS4?

Hey Vtc, i can try to answer your questions. BTW i've uploaded some little nuggets on my yt channel as below for all you guys to see. I'd appreciate if you give them a like on yt. These are all from the same game me as Hawks vs Pelicans, i think i will also post to little things thread.

                          Trae buzzerbeater play

                          Zion dunk

Trae coming up the court with his sig dribling(looking up) and closing the game

Natural steals and come and go's good flow, Zion post up, Trae anklebreaker j

Murray standing close shot as like tear drop(these are fun finally close shots are smt. worthy)

Dejounte Murray ingame injury, very realistically played out animation wise..

And again Murray's getting foul on a dunk attempt and good ball rim interaction

I play pro and allstar but allstar to go for now just trying the settings, getting used to new feeling yet may even go back to pro any minute...

First - thanks for the feedback and observations.

                            Questions -
Are there more fouls called? In 2022, fouls were rarely called, most were only around the rim. Total fouls for games were often in the single digits. Any better with 2023 current gen? Total fouls for a game for use and CPU? Any fouls on jump shots?

I saw some comments about help defense and PNR defense being better in 2023. Can anyone confirm? Any comments on these aspects of defense would be great.

Whatever you see on next gen, it’s on current gen gameplay wise. So yea there are more fouls, great foul animations and animation blending. The help defense is on point. You can also watch my videos to decide yourself.

I confirm that fast breaks are fixed (I stopped playing NBA2K22 because of that). Also, I think that AI defends my fast breaks better (when AI sees my player running for fast break, AI player tracks me).
