Re: 2K23 MyCareer Build Discussion
You just have to copy weight, height, wingspan and their jersey number. I think just about any player on the roster could give you a replica. But I haven't tried it yet.Comment

Can anyone confirm around 42 games and a championship still gets you gym rat on Next Gen?

2K23 MyCareer Build Discussion
I made a SF 6’ 9” 3 level scorer and this is the most fun Iv had in 2k since 2k18 when i made a pure post scorer.
I got the +4 upgrade and put them on defense so my badge count after the +4 is around 19, 23, 20, and 19.
That’s probably off a little bit but we get the idea. All around build.
Can dunk great, just below the ability to contact dunk. Can shoot great even with just a 83 3pt. I feel like i make damn near 70% of my shots on average and the only reason it’s even that low is because i love being flashy and doing spin jumpers and crap. 86 ball handle and 78 pass accuracy so i could get needle threader. And my defensive stats are great.
Even better is since everyone has been going tall with their builds I’m often at the 2 guard in the rec and i am often matched up against 6’ 3” guards which is a murder every time on my behalf due to my 78 perimeter D and ability to get bronze anchor which is OP btw. Anchor can literally take guys with wide open dunks out of those dunks even on just bronze level. God only knows what anchor does on HOF. My build has 83 speed so i keep up with most guards and it rides the hip real well for blocks. [ATTACH]201990
This screenshot is the build at PF before i switched to SF but it’s pretty similar. Some stuff got tweaked on the move to SF obviously but everything is close. Nothing was changed more that 6 attribute points either way

yea, that's nice. 2k made 7'3 guys too fast haha. I love just shooting over people, but that one around the FT line was a nice juke.

Re: 2K23 MyCareer Build Discussion
Iv got 2 builds currently both fun.
Main is a 6’ 9” 3 level scorer. Does nothing at an elite level but does everything good. I’m actually surprised you can make such an all around guy. All i had to do was sacrifice contact dunks, and my 3pt is at like 82 but it still hits 3/4 times.
Second guy is my 25 speed 7 foot 3 2-way interior finisher. This build is equally as fun. It does everything. This build cannot shoot at all.

Re: 2K23 MyCareer Build Discussion
Nah haha. Too tempting to just be body bags inside. I put it on passes. My boy never puts anything in defense except a lil block to get chase ani ( as a pg ), his stuff is nasty looking and he still does well on d. I dumped shooting per usual. If I still got it I’ll show u the kinda stuff I do haha. I got one I was gonna post. I can prol mid hooks or something, gonna have 60 something cuz u need that to get close shot right (95.) Now that close shot governs all close shots i just play bully.

haha. Our C was weird and everyone quit. Had me at PF. This is cathartic after watching dude's guy hit like 10 3s. I'm playing "try to block me." Sometimes they catch it, but it makes them thirsty and I get easy passes after.

Re: 2K23 MyCareer Build Discussion
How are some of your builds going? I am having the worse time making and figuring what I want to play. I usually play SG, also made a center last year but this year I was thinking of making a bigger sized PG 6'7". I'm going to play for the Celtics and want to be an all-around player....at least that's what I'm thinking right now.-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

What's the minimum perimeter defense you can have on MyCareer to not get cooked by Steph Curry? I'm on a PS5 and only play MyCareer. Thanks!Comment
