These pro am squads should be ashamed of themselves coming into the rec to stunt on randoms.

Isnt there a pro am 5 vs 5 for these losers ?

I have team mates quit the first 2 baskets out of fear and ive been in toooo many games playing alone against a full pro am squad cause i refuse to quit.

Nothing to do with fear tbh.

Its just a complete waste of time , not to mention just adds frustration for no reason.

Even if its you with 4 AI these bums will just triple team you.

There is no point whatsoever.

Just dashboard.
If lucky it crashes the entire games make it dont count lmao.

They have 5v5 Park in Theatre right now…it’s a good opportunity to get some random 5v5 in.

I’m hoping it’s something they can eventually add permanently, Just so everyone has options.

Reality is, There were probably never be a Random Rec. It was never really designed to be randoms only.

I know some prefer being solo warriors, but I rather run with a good group that doesn’t give me a post game migraine, lol

If you don’t necessarily desire to be solo, There’s so many ways to connect with like minded ballers out there.

So I'm having a great game we're winning up by like 11 I go up for a dunk and then I get an error message telling me I have to quit. SMH

I’ve had Looking for Groups formed in 10 mins take out “clans”…sometimes you at least want to have the right team composition.

Just ran with a 5th last night who decided to sit paint in the 4th because….”random reasons” despite LEADING the team in shots. No sir, Over it.

As a dude who spends 95% of the time in the Rec i have to agree with the other poster. There’s no place for squads in the Rec.


They could eliminate squading up, they could force squadded up teams to wait until they match make with the same amount of players they are entering with. They could make Rec a lobby type thing with more in depth stats, they could make a whole different Rec building where squads are banned, they could make an announcement saying screw us, like they could do ANYTHING and they do NONE of that. They ignore the complaint, which is a looong standing complaint almost equal to CPU shooting because trash ON HOF

I’m all for a random Rec, Stat tracking (Even though there is a bit of irony that you want to decide who to play with by this) I just don’t think it’s going to happen outside of maybe adding a permanent theatre type mode. Said that from the jump. That’s a valid ask though.

“Friends shouldn’t be able to play together like they have for the past 8 years because I don’t like it” is not.

Much like your HOF shooting complaint, The game isn’t going to bend to your will, You have to make adjustments.

5v5 theater is not a normal match, but some embarrassment.

The fact that it suits you how Rec function means, you are a cheap bastard who goes with your squad for easy win & rep.

Rec is totally broken, no matchmaking, AI's are joining the lobby, you have to squad, otherwise you probably need to restart the game. I totally don`t get the situation, where you enter the lobby, and there are already 2 Ai`s with no other players in. It is broken period, i run it with squad sometimes too, it is a disgrace, people leaving, or a game is a farce.

I am sure that if Rec was designed properly squads vs squads only, randoms vs randoms, you would not be there anymore for your easy farm.

Why can`t we have 5v5 randoms vs randoms ? i have my bet on that, i think 2k calculate that such cheap bastards would lose interest in making other characters because no more easy farming, would lead to less VC purchases. It is business i get it, but why we have those Ai`s in lobby from 2 years is beyond pathetic.

Had the worst rec game tonight. I don’t know what it is about my account or player but literally every other game my teammates decide to freeze me out regardless of performance. I’m
not exaggerating at all. I can have 7 assists in the first half, 2nd half will come and they’ll just decide I don’t get to touch the ball anymore.

Last game I got so frustrated, I spent the 4th quarter collecting 3 sec violations, flopping instead of contesting, and standing out of bounds. They wanted to play 5 on 4, so I let them. I’m the point guard and they literally would not inbound to me. Not ever. I had to steal an inbounds pass from my teammate. By the time the 4th quarter arrived I had 0 stats due to 0 touches. I shot two fadeaway threes from half court and got two turnovers just to feel alive.

Mind you, my idea of a good game isn’t necessarily a high scoring game. A great game for me is usually a high assist game. I’d just like to contribute.

Iv had games where both my guards are something trash like 3-15 and I’m 9/9 and i literally have to message ppl and tell them to pass me the ball.



Everyone doesn’t play to win. Gotta accept it
