So is there a way to set this up so that camera stays behind your player all the time? I’m having the same issue as I did with the Drive cam last year where I have to go change the Rev Angle setting at halftime of every game.

Settings wise - I play on HOF and boost both mine and the CPUs 3pt shooting and lower Shot Timing Impact, shooting is tough this year IMO. I haven’t messed with any other sliders yet this year, haven’t needed to and I hate slideritis. I play on 7 minutes 58 game season, 3 game playoff series. I rarely sim games but I might change that this year as seeing multiple seasons play out in the MyERAs is really intriguing and playing a full season even though it’s 58 games, takes awhile!

The furthest I got playing every game was 2k19 or 20, can’t remember exactly. I did five years as the PG for the Suns along with DBook. He’s the best running mate I’ve ever had.

Thanks for your suggestions about the settings..... I might do some small changes as well.

How do you change the team you control? Is it not you need to choose one team before the draftings etc, can I change the one I control after? How can I do that..... sorry first time in this mode I usually play myC before. just intrigued how this myEra plays out

No worries, it’s in the options section and it’s just called team selection. You can control one or multiple teams. You can switch this at any time.

For now...I decided to create a player and insert it to draft and I was able to pick it up at the draft. Im with Memphis and Morant is a monster and others are good. We're 2-2 so far and I cant complain....yes the CPU teammates are not relying on my CAP, they are doing their part!!!

Superstars from opponent teams are playing like stars!!!

Thanks so much for answering my questions. I am enjoying this mode! Plus I can act like a coach....doing the substitution, timeout etc. and not necessarily playing.

Do you guys feel stars are too dominate though? Roleplayers are not getting much touches and stars putting up 30+ attempts?

fact is transition defense has been broken since god knows when. You can literally sprint baseline during transition to score at will with decently quick guard. blows my mind that 2k said they improved it this year. I mean its the same way if you play 5v5 ...

As someone who's still playing 2K23 I have both CPU defensive awareness and on ball defense set to 100.

                Help defense at 65.

I have defensive consistency at 50 but might increase it.

That combination has helped limit the baseline drives for uncontested dunks.

I'm currently playing as the 2003 Lakers and am averaging 41ppg on 63% shooting with Kobe, which is annoying. I'm doing what I can to make that more realistic, without making my teammates incompetent.

I was 92 Bulls before then and averaged 36ppg with Jordan on 61% shooting, while my teammates were very accurate at 50% all combined.

Do you play with badges? Someone suggested to remove the badges and it worked for me perfectly in 2024. Superstar are acting like one and role players are also doing as expected. With some good game for some role players but not every night. Try removing the badges.

Playing with player lock is definitely an interesting twist, and I've also noticed my teammates are able to play effectively for the most part. There will still be times where I "take over" but probably less than in previous 2K games when I tried this.

I haven't touched the badges. Is there a quick way to remove them for everyone? If not I'll remove Kobe's badges and see how it plays, thank you.

At the moment I have CPU defensive awareness, defensive consistency and on ball defense all set to 100, and I've shot 42 of 66 (64%) in the past 2 games.

Likewise, I play offline so I will not suffer from automatic updates that could ruin my experience. Removing the badges in MyNBA is the game changer for me.

Here's the link of the discussion.... he answered my question how to do it at #30 (page 4 I think). But read the findings of other players who removed the badges. You will be impressed. PLUS I didnt do anything in the sliders (this was before the update #2) I put it in Superstar and 11 mins/qtr. Im getting realistic scores.

Also I play offline so I will not suffer from updates that could ruin my experience. So far this saved MyNBA for me.
