I'm on PC......have this issue been fixed? Becouse I still see:

- lack of double teams on hot players
- lack of double teams on the post
- lack of double teams on mis-match

Is still the same ? Or a patch is coming?

They come now but the guy doubling also seems to be able to close out and beat the pass out so it's really tough to take advantage and get an open look.

Do they double a player that is dominating?

Also did they care about mis-match?

...few updates on this topic; just to be clear beforre I start:

- I like 2k23 engine expecially animations, and jump shooting and the less "canned" interactions
- I don't like the paint defense and lack for DT on some players but more than this the lack of help defense
- I mostly use "play now"

Since as I stated i used most of the time "Play Now" here's some adjustment i made just before the start of a "Play Now" game I change this for the CPU:



I also leave ACE on and defense playcall on "AUTO".

I also "up" the help defense slider on coach sliders:



After many games I'm getting some decent results from the CPU....they start to play some "physical" defense and the they start to double.

On the "double team" topic I'm gonna post more impression later.

















Now about the double teams....seems like 2K double a lot only some players....for example of the Celtics big 3 they were doubling just Ray Allen and Pierce....so I just done this to Garnett:

- give him Shaq badges
- put his hot zones "red" for around the basket....just to make him a "threat" for the CPU

...as you can see they start to double him a lot....and what I like most....not every time....just when he was hot.
On the other side I didn't get any double team before the 3pt line...but maybe this is something we don't see often even at professional level......

I figure in mc once I hit 100 per they decide to double. I fight doubles til they tie me up. Def some way to get ‘em to come and they come on touch on dribble etc, consistently in mc if u housing post. Now to get ur teammates to make a shot…

Had mismatches with Mebiid against guards in the post and no double team came.

just back to playin 2k23 again, gameplay overall seems pretty decent, however, game breaker issue back again, CPU DON'T NOTICE WHEN MY BIG IS BACKING DOWN THEIR SMALL AFTER THEY SWITCHED PICK AND ROLL!!!

why is 2k getting worse and worse!!!!

why nobody talks about this...2k really needs to do something about it, pick and roll mismatch not recognized by com is UNACCEPTABLE! GAME BREAK ISSUE!

I’ve never seen a double team in this game due to a size mismatch in the post. Not in the past 2 2K’s as well.

I'm on current gen my post players doubled too much. What can I do in MyLeauge mode? Also does hot zones really affect double team trquency?

It is there but it seems predetermined rather than situational.

Ie - I played against the Hornet's who had Bones Hyland at shooting guard. Anytime I took him to the post they immediately sent a double. I've had the same in a couple of games where my 7'2 centre is on an undersized opponent and they double straight away.

But, if I get the switch on a pnr, they don't react to it.

I had one game where I hit four straight corner three's because the corner defender was the one who came to double and it was an easy kick out, yet they kept doing it with the same second defender.

Anyone can offer sliders help or something? This is game breaker issue but seems nobody cares!
