Re: NBA 2K23 Patch #2 Available Now – Patch Notes
Not swishing everything makes the anticipation of each shot mean more (if using no meter or perfect release cue)
Now when the boy hit the back of the rim I prepare for a rebound almost every time being idk if it’s a perfect release or not
Good job 2k for addressing thisLast edited by Quentin32; 10-21-2022, 04:32 AM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K23 Patch #2 Available Now – Patch Notes
Gameplay thankfully seems to be pretty much the same cept the difference with the swishes coming out less. However last night I noticed a funny little glitch/error with Phil Jackson while on my Jordan Era season. It seems whatever 2K did to Phil Jackson as a coach affected him big time because his coach model literally shrunk. I think the patch notes said something about fixing the hair dynamics for Phil Jackson? Either way it didn’t fix his hair but messed up his model instead. Phil Jackson ain’t no midget. If you use Phil Jackson in the Modern Era/Jordan Challenges, his model is big and tall as it should be. But if you see Phil Jackson in the Jordan Era on the sidelines, he strangely has become a midget. The same problem applies to the older Phil Jackson coach model on the Lakers as well.
Again nothing game breaking or affecting gameplay but I just thought it was an interesting little errorLast edited by Champy123; 10-21-2022, 04:44 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K23 Patch #2 Available Now – Patch Notes
Problem with 2K every year is, once they patch one problem, two arise in its place. And at a certain point, we all know clearly they abandon ship for development on next year’s version so I highly doubt we will get that all perfect game everyone wishes they hadOriginally posted by eich6bcI’m a huge 2K fan always been since Dreamcast. I’m 38 so I go back to NBA live 95 lol I love the patches as long as they are timely and fix the issues of any size
I pay $80 every year in September for 2K in hopes that by Xmas all the gameplay issues and cosmetic issues are patched. They do a good job of doing that.
But also I understand why ppl get impatient. If u pay for something you expect a full product.
I think 2K should start advertising an Xmas patch or something that will help calm ppl who pay in September for a full game.

Re: NBA 2K23 Patch #2 Available Now – Patch Notes
First time I have ever had successive games vs the hof cpu where they had double digits tos. Made the game so much more fun to play. Nothing worse than watching the cpu have 30 assists with 3 tos. Not sure if they tried to touch gameplay in patch, but the timing of this is odd if not.
Best 2k ever. EasilyPsn: Alabamarob

It really is the best 2K to date. We should match up sometime.First time I have ever had successive games vs the hof cpu where they had double digits tos. Made the game so much more fun to play. Re: NBA 2K23 Patch #2 Available Now – Patch Notes
CPU players no longer use layup timing, as they were unrealistically proficient with it? Does that mean CPU was making to many of their layups? Are people seeing more missed layups now?Comment

Re: NBA 2K23 Patch #2 Available Now – Patch Notes
The free-throw difficulty slider will now function correctly. I am glade to hear that.
Fixed some problems with controllable rim hangs that were causing players to vault into the air unexpectedly. I had not heard that one before sounds funny would like to see it lol.Comment

Are you seeing this in an existing MyNBA save or roster? Or did you notice it during a play now game or something? Phil thankfully seems to be his real height in my existing MyNBA save and roster.Gameplay thankfully seems to be pretty much the same cept the difference with the swishes coming out less. I feel like the cpu is cooking me harder than ever after the patch. So not only is this the best 2K by far (not even close), but it’s the first time I feel difficulty got harder after a patch, which is a very good thing.
I’ve played many 2K’s with Jordan as my primary figure. Never has he felt so alive and immersive as this game. I feel like I still have to pinch myself at getting Phil as a coach and Rodman with the hair styles and the Bulls warmups etc. They even gave the Bulls crisp color jerseys in like with how they make current jerseys pop (if you notice, classic jerseys for some annoying reason always are more dull looking, less sharp white than current jerseys, but with the 80’s and 90’s Bulls jerseys they corrected than and made them sharp white too. Then you see the 04 Bulls home jerseys and they’re the dull white).
There are alll things I dreamed of with 2K22 etc. Wishing one day 2K would supply them.
Yes, many glitches present. Honestly at this point I would almost rather them not touch it at all at risk of some other glitches popping up. In 2K22 one big patch resulted in halftime shows crashing (eventually fixed). I just don’t want any game breaking bugs to pop up.
The only real thing I want now is all the jersey updates provided to older custom rosters and MyNBA saves. Also the occasional camera judder fix would be nice but even that’s not really taking my attention. Allowing conversions in back MyNBA would be cool too. But otherwise, I just don’t want them to do something and risk screwing something else up. So far MyNBA and the game feels stable, more so than 2K22. I want to keep it that way.Comment

I am seeing it in my Jordan Era myNBA save. The funny thing is like I said, if you use the Phil Jackson coach model in a Modern myNBA era save or see Phil on the sidelines during the Jordan Challenge, he is normal sized. The error only seems to happen in a Jordan Era myNBA save, old or new.Are you seeing this in an existing MyNBA save or roster? Or did you notice it during a play now game or something? Ah got it. That sucks lol. Yeah I use him in the “modern” era which is basically my all time custom rosters. Weird how of all eras he’s shortened is the Jordan era.I am seeing it in my Jordan Era myNBA save. Did they patch something in with Real% Free Throws? Starting yesterday I've noticed a lot more misses by me and the computer. 2 games and neither team went 100%Comment

Re: NBA 2K23 Patch #2 Available Now – Patch Notes
My biggest problem so far is the game being too easy using the 83 Lakers. They are just too good I guess. I’m winning by 30+ on default HOF. CPU every game shoots like 37%. I’ve been working on sliders to help CPU offense and weaken my defense. I’m getting there but so far I’m 23-5. But looking at real life what they did it’s not far off and the Sixers are hanging with me at 21-7.Comment

Re: NBA 2K23 Patch #2 Available Now – Patch Notes
I saw this is a Jordan era MyNBA run...the difference between playing with a team with a basic roster (i.e. the 2002 Rockets) and a stacked roster (in this example, a 2004 Rockets with LeBron, Arenas, and Yao) is MASSIVE. Talent gap is super represented in this game.My biggest problem so far is the game being too easy using the 83 Lakers. They are just too good I guess. I’m winning by 30+ on default HOF.
