This was working fine until a recent patch. Is anyone else experiencing problems with the free throws being nearly 100%?

abass the setting to 55/60, you should have better results

Which setting? I'm confused. The CPU and HUM free throws are based on real percentages.

is this slider even working? i tested it both at 0 and 100 and didn't feel or see any differences.

and broken, in fact I recommended the difficulty 55/60, with those values I see some errors

That slider only applies to user timing.

CPU teams are working just fine but the issue seems to be real player % for the user isn't accurate and there's no slider for shifting in played games.

even for user timing you don't see it having any effect at all. regardless if its 0 or 100, most freethrows are green and go in and 9 out of 10 non greens will miss.

How can this not be fixed in all the patches thus far? It is a major part of the game.

Has 2k even acknowledged a problem?

It’s definitely still not working right. CPU misses a ton. I actually had 1 out of 4 games where I didn’t shoot lights out from the line but after a 4 game sample user shoots too well CPU shoots really bad.

Has anyone checked with the latest patch to see whether this has been addressed?

I've only played one game post patch and to me it seemed fixed. The CPU shot 67% and I shot 78% with Real%. In the past I've only missed one or two Free Throws per game.

I would say it is improved. Shot 81 percent last game with 84 Lakers in myera. Probably still too high but definitely not a gimme like it was IMHO.

First game of my new expansion MyNBA, and I just made 23/24 free throw attempts and won by 7. CPU was 13/21.

This game is too good to have such a significant bug such as this.

Interesting. The past several weeks for me I'm consistently getting games in the 70-80% range for both CPU and human. I'll get the occasional 90% but not nearly as much as I used to.

Can I ask what your sliders are set to? Specifically, the user sliders for contact inside, contact short, and shooting fouls?

I'm exploring a theory that a different slider may be impacting FT%. Some people are experiencing this while others aren't. I have those 3 sliders I mentioned at 90, which leads me to believe it *could* be meaningful.



I'm very anti-conspiracy theory (reversed sliders, etc), so giving it due diligence.

I'm using Schnait1's original slider set which has now been replaced on his main post by his ATD sliders so I'll have to check it out this evening. I know I have shooting fouls at 100 for CPU and User.

Edit: If you're talking about the "Inside Contact Shot Frequency" I know that's at 100 as well.

If you want to use real free throw percentage lower your teams free throw ratings by 20-25 for each player. That will get them closer to their true free throw percentage. It’s worked for me.

I have a quick, maybe unrelated question about player %, but what is the percentage representing? Their in-game attribute rating? Or is it metrics from their real life shot percentages?
