I hope they add the option to remove the era filter like they have in the Jordan mode.

And please, give us the option to load a user created roster. Missing players, generic shoes, etc kill the immersion. I’m happy they gave us this mode but c’mon man.

Yeah, I don't get it. It's ridiculous. We lost the ability to load rosters into Freestyle mode a few years ago, which made zero sense. At least we had the workaround of loading a custom roster into Blacktop mode and then going into Freestyle. Now that is gone. And then they add Eras into quickplay with no load roster option either. Do they hate custom rosters and roster creators? What other possible reason could there be for the continued absence of this basic feature which remains in normal quickplay?YT - Jimbo2K

Not sure why anyone thought this would be anything other than the debug menu you could access when the game came out. They took it out and added it back in as a feature

Seriously, with all of the custom rosters out there already ready for season play, it should be a no brainer to allow them to be useful in Quick Play. Otherwise it was just like the debug edition which was just ok but nothing compared to what it could be with Custom Rosters. This is ridiculous that they don’t have the option ready to go, 2K is losing a great opportunity here.

I really want to believe 2K listened to the community and put this feature back in, and if that's true, please listen again and allow us to load user created rosters. So many of the players, accessories and shoes are not accurate on these Era base rosters. Please 2K. Please.Comment

Re: NBA 2K23 Adding Eras Quick Play on Friday, January 13
This really a huge disappointment to me that we can't use era custom rosters for this. It's almost pointless. Especially if we could use the custom roster we would be unrestricted to use whatever year/season we want in the quick play. Hope someone communicates this to the devs and add the option in.Comment

Cant play your friends online in quick play eras. Then i might as well do the era league with online teams vs friends. 2k just dont get understand people play each other not the computer all day!Comment

Seriously doubt this happens. The only reason they added this back in is because it was already there but hidden. It's exactly the same as launch except you can't turn the filters off anymore.

Also still can’t access new city jerseys and uniforms with rosters created before they put those uniforms in the game. Never was a problem in older 2K’s. They really know how to punish roster creators and early adopters.Comment

Agree with everyone, I was waiting for this feature after the announcement but it doesn't allow custom rosters. It's a very welcome addition but disappointing in the end. If they add the custom roster feature, this would be great!Comment
