I do think that in general, a lot of people build things up in their head and actively make their own experience worse because of attitude/or preconceived notions. I'm very guilty of this -- I had a fixed view of what the game "should" be that I was missing what it already is -- which is still a decent playing basketball game despite flaws and design decisions I don't agree with.

It can be powerful to let things go, focus on positives, and trying to enjoy things as they are -- and if I can't, then I move on from it. Easier said than done sometimes.

No they aren't!

there are "hotfixes" since 2k21 which 2k makes through roster updates.
roster updates are being delivered daily even though there are no changes to ratings, Face scans, players
movement and i figure out you get my point.

these hotfixes are changing the gameplay with shooting, dribbling, blocks and more on court action. these is the reason why people feel that every week or so the shooting release point is faster/slower, or suddenly hookshots are being easy money and again i'm sure you get the picture.

it's not "in their head".
