I don't accuse anyone of being anything at all. I'm glad you enjoy the game. Being positive is awesome. Being objective is better as far as the health of the product goes, though. And it isn't just me. Online community is not happy, but I don't say anything about that because I don't play.

Objectively if you think what they do is incredible then I think you have a pretty low bar. Incredible is a pretty huge word. For example, assuming you're telling the truth, I think it's incredible you think what 2K does is incredible. I, personally, don't think a gaming studio like 2K who profit hundreds of millions per year releasing a title that is filled with issues is a nod to their competence, and certainly not incredible.

I mean, how many hundreds of millions do they need to make before they release a game that's just better? I'm serious...I'm legit asking. If you think what they do is incredible what word do you use for small dev teams that make popular and successful games with about 1% of the budget and 2-5 people? I could agree that it's incredible but in the opposing opinion. I think it's incredible that year after year they release a half baked game with ongoing bugs, legacy issues, regressing graphics and, like a moron, I buy it. I think it's incredible they remove good features and people overlook it. I think it's incredible they can charge insane amounts of money/VC for people to be competitive online and people just complain and then pay.

I don't think you're a fanboy. I think you're enjoying the game. I just think we differ on what we want from the game, the value of objectivity and the literal definition of 'incredible'.

I'm not mad at you for feeling frustrated.. I think everyone has their value that they want for sure. You definitely are entitled to that. We buy the game because its literally the ONLY option we have in basketball gaming.

You aren't a moron when it comes to it, nor is anyone. You are a gamer that enjoys aspects of the game and has a different expectation on some things, which is expected. I'm an old head/offline gamer, franchise me and i'm good. I don't care to play the other modes but I think its awesome that they offer a lot of options for people that want different things.

I want everyone to be able to feel how they feel, but to look at the bigger picture. The game will always need some updating online and all, but unless you have worked with this 2k team or another studio like it personally.. lets just try to appreciate the work they have done.

I have always said, the biggest issue 2k has is communication to its consumers because if they could tell people the red tape they have to go through just to get certain things in.. maybe an understanding could come to the community.

I don't blame anyone wanting more, and being frustrated by annoying *** bugs. I guess I just think we gotta enjoy the wins that you have in the game because there are positives in each part of the game that we may take for granted.

I think the game plays a lot better since the patch.

It was for me also. I got the minor update after it and now it's back to bleh. I'm still thinking it's a bug/roster issue or something.


I was really enjoying it for a couple of days though.

I just want the AI to double-team if I'm backing down someone in the post who I'm 50 pounds heavier than, and to also play help defense and help behind the initial helper. I don't think that's asking too much, especially considering all of this was in the game and functioning just fine on launch.

I appreciate the gifs. I DO see the CPU single up on posts sometimes but it's typically with good 1v1 defenders. I actually like how they've set it since patch. But your footage is obvious double scenarios. Is this My career, MyNBA or just exhibition? I play exclusively My career. You may have changed your sliders at some point or have an unofficial roster.

I restarted my career again after the last patch because I wanted the most up to date and best roster to go with the updated gameplay. No tainted stats.

Right now Luka is struggling from deep, but I'm chalking it up to my teammate chemistry not being maxed yet. Before I didn't trust Luka in the post, and while I have it currently set as his 3rd priority in the playbook, he does wonders for opening the floor when they double. I couldn't imagine if this team had a dominant post player like AD or Lebron.

I swear I'm not spamming this... Lol but my most recent gameplay has everything I ever wanted.

Exhibition, default rosters and sliders. I've tried with both custom and default rosters/sliders.

And that's what is most frustrating. If it wasn't for this glaring issue (that not everyone is experiencing, somehow?), I would absolutely agree with the assertion that this is a 9/10 game, if not 9.5. Everything else is great, but this is just making the game too easy, as you can see from the GIFs.

No need for anything but the drop step and dunk.

What is most bothersome about this is when there is a clear mediocre/weak shooter on the floor to help off of. If it's really all knockdown shooters around then maybe it could be argued that open 3 is going in anyway so just give up the easy 2.

Thankfully the AI is pretty resistant to giving up a big/small switch.

Honestly there's gotta be give and take. Currently I still think passing speed both the animation and velocity of the ball is nowhere near the levels it should be compared to closeout speeds. But then I'd go from 10 assists a game to 35. I feel like my good passes get through enough and it's a video game and they make it enough that I'm not screaming at the TV anymore. It was all of that COMBINED with the sticky D that threw me off the wall a few times.

I have been a noted critic of this year and this patch made me do a 180. The fact the double doesn't come on time EVERY time is acceptable IMO.

I want Zion to get his looks against me when the double doesn't get there in time. Hell, I want Zion to BEAT my double from time to time.

I agree. I don't want a double-team, or help-defense on a drive to come perfectly, or even at all, 10 times out of 10, but I think 0 times out of 10 is a game-breaker.
