So where are the "new" pro play animations?

It's still the same as the release date version. I thought they will add as the season progress...

Did they say they would add more throughout the year? I thought the concept was that the animations in the game were just based off the real clips etc. but I dunno if part of the selling point was adding new stuff all season.

I do know MyCareer peeps are chapped that a lot of the new animations are basically locked behind time gates in the seasons.

They definitely added a few a month or so ago. I saw for PG and KD I think it was.

This seems to be the trend lately. People hype themselves up for features that were ever announced and then get mad when they don't happen. Look at the MLB The Show thread. People are freaking out over graphics (or lack of a major graphics overhaul) after one screen shot even though it was never announced that MLB The Show was undergoing a major graphics overhaul.

Somehow folks have come to the conclusion that ProPlay was supposed to do everything from fully eliminating clipping to curing world hunger when that was never stated. Somehow an easier way to expand and improve the games animation library is labeled as a “gimmick”, lol

Anyway- I can’t recall if they said they’d be adding new animations through the year…though it’s something they’ve commonly done in the past even before ProPlay- so I wouldn’t be surprised.

No one claimed that MLB said there was going to be graphics overhaul. People are complaining that since ps5, there hasn't been any sort of next gen graphics upgrade.
