Not sure I'll give this a spin as IIRC it's a pretty hefty download, but between this and Dead Island 2 being on gamepass, pretty good additions imo.

The Game Pass version is apparently new-gen even on PC, but no one really cares since it can't be modded (which means the regular PC versions of 2K23/24 still offer the best experience).

It's not next gen, you may be thinking of Madden 24.

Hmm PC version does not have Eras mode though so I wouldn't consider it next gen.

Oh I see, not really the PC version though. It's the Series X Version played via cloud on Gamepass App.

XBox Game Pass is what this thread is about, not the native PC version of the game that you can get via Steam and other platforms. A dude earlier in the thread asked if it (i.e., 2K24 via XBox Game Pass) is console-only or also includes PC, and you replied with something about PC being old-gen, which is irrelevant / misleading since in this context (i.e., playing on PC via XBox Game Pass) it's the new-gen (XBox Series S|X) version of the game, so I was just offering a correction there.

It 100% is the next gen version. This is a game changer. So good to be able to play mynba eras on pc even if its via cloudgaming! Loving how the game plays so far too.
