-As expected, players universally dropped due to the removal of badges.

-Players who had no rating change effectively "went up" because their ranking improved.

-Only a handful of players went up in rating: Chris Paul, Alex Caruso, and Miles Bridges.

-In the case of CP3, his OVR was lowered via Intangibles to ensure he would come off the bench for Golden State. He projects to be the Spurs starting PG and a penalty isn't necessary.

-Caruso made another All-Defense team since the final update, which may have played into the boost (2K also might have changed his position to SF, where he would rate higher).

-Don't know what to make of Bridges yet as we don't have enough of a PF sample.

Called shot: Colin Sexton (83 OVR in 2K24) will be 85 OVR (+2). There is no way he's dropping to 80 OVR. We have yet to see a -3.

-Top Sixth Men: Caruso (82), Hart (82), Reid (81)

-As a reminder, players are going down due to the mass removal of badges.
-A player with No Change (NC) effectively "went up" because everyone else is dropping 1-2 OVR. Darius Garland and Isaiah Hartenstein are great examples of this.

-LaVine (CHI), Kuzma (WAS), and Ayton (POR) are the highest rated players on their teams at 83 OVR.
-Thomas & Claxton (BKN) are the top Nets at 81 OVR.

-Just about all Centers are dropping 2 OVR (this is GOOD). Isaiah Hartenstein is so far the only player exempt from this.
-PF appears to be the least affected OVR-wise (ALSO GOOD). The convoluted badges didn't really apply to them.

-Today's insane rating is Desmond Bane lower than Jalen Green (and Bradley Beal, but Green is so much worse, should be RJ Barrett territory).

Guess I was wrong to give 2K the benefit of the doubt. Either they screwed up and missed him, or they screwed his ratings terribly, because there's no way he should be outside the Anfernee Simons / Cam Thomas tier.
