Re: OS NBA 2K25 Shoe Vault - Discussion
I just got home to look and it replaces the NB 990v6 which I would never equip on court. The person who put the big mod together did an overall good job of putting the realistic customs in places we likely wouldn't equip using the modern era of myleague. Some of the individual ones I find aren't as thoughtful lol.
It sucks when they replace any and all versions of the a model (edited or included colorways). So far I've been happy with my first real 2k PC mod experiences. I probably won't even bother with my ps5 copy anymore unless I'm playing company. I probably will only purchase on PC exclusively now.
Yep the modding adds so much to the PC version.Comment

The big mod was able to include so many modded variations under the original as if they were edits or natural colorways. I wouldn’t have minded trying yours for longer if it didn’t remove some of what was already there. It also included a bunch of shoe editor creations to go alongside the photorealistic shoes, which I thought was cool. I think they’re pulling together a bunch of different shoe mods into a huge collection. I can’t imagine how much work it takes to do that and I’m sure some of the other modders don’t really like it lol.Comment

Re: OS NBA 2K25 Shoe Vault - Discussion
In the past shoe companies will sometimes hold off on getting a shoe into the game until it's available for sale. I checked the adidas website and they show the Harden 9 as "coming soon." So it's possible it'll get in the game once it's available for retail.Comment

Re: OS NBA 2K25 Shoe Vault - Discussion
Are there any online videos of the modded shoe making process or the file building process? I’ve tried reading some of how it works on message boards, I’ve even seen some of your explanations but it’s hard to make sense without visual context.Comment

I don't believe so but it should be easier to follow if you edit along at the same time. All I do is type the RGB of the hex values into a file and occasionally some other info like material type.Comment

Man, I was really hoping with PC crossplay that someone would be able to “hack” giving Grant Hill his Fila’s. But searched all grant hill DNA’s and find one actual Hill with them (only created fake Hill’s can be equipped with them).Comment

But, yeah, there does need to be an update for new shoes. The Joker 361 is missing, Andrew Wiggins' signature model, the AR2 and Podz' shoe, the Fear of God joints would be nice, and the GT Cut 3 that Jrue Holiday debuted (it's an updated model, I hear) would be really nice, too.Dubs, Niners, GiantsComment
