The Skecher's Nexus layers are wrong and you will not be able to make accurate colourways.

The Joker 1's are a beautiful shoe. Love the look of them and I've added 3 colorways already. They remind me of the Lebron 3's a bit.

Yea it’s like 2k is going to piss us off one way or another! The Skechers Nexus is a simple designed shoe too!

Retail release is April, so not expecting that to make it in until then.

Yes but the files have been in the game since the season 4 update! I can make them work by swapping the files to be other shoe id

Yes but the files have been in the game since the season 4 update! I can make them work by swapping the files to be other shoe id

Unless 2K gets the sign off from New Balance, we won't get them in the game...officially lol.

Docthreat sent me over some links for mods (since I play on PC, just like you and him).

Because they might’ve got the sign off early and put them into the game and locked them, but NB doesn’t want them “released” until they release in real life. If the files are available, they will definitely be unlocked at some point.

Still seems daft to me but I can use them so I don't really care. More bothered about the lack of shoe options in myteam where I have to edit files to get players in more up to date shoes. Or some of the other manufacturers

Agreed on the up to date part. I’m on XBox so I tried downloading the main big roster that has most guys fixed, however on that roster some of the players looks like they were imported instead of actually updated in the back end of the game. So KCP has 361 shoes and I can edit/choose colorways, but Podziemski must’ve been imported because he has AR1s but when I go to edit it takes me to the default and I can select the AR1 colorways anymore. On the 2k default roster I can pick the AR1 colorways for him though.

Even on the default roster it’s not perfect. Alvarado has Peak shoes selected, but when going into the colorways, it takes you to the default. I wish we had a roster with all guys updated and not imported so us console guys can use the colorways we made for guys who have changed shoe companies in the last 2 years.

At this point 2K has gotten worse each year on updating kicks. And don’t give me the “ well the shoe companies didn’t send a demo pair for them to scan) Hell do some colorways of the popular kicks already in the game then! DO SOMETHING!! Even the materials ( the camouflage, the different color prints) that Bull$hit should’ve Been updated 4yrs ago at least! They’re focused on more micro transactions than the actual heart and soul of the game! And don’t let me get on the Lacking of player likeness!! In 6 months only bout 4-6 NBA PLAYERS were updated.. it’s just pitiful compared what 2K used to be

I wasn't editing shoes during the PS3 days so I don't know how the shoe creator section looked like during that time, but I feel like we won't get an upgrade in the shoe creator until 2K goes full current gen and stops making games for past gen consoles.

Colorways are also up to the shoe companies. But I fully agree on the patterns and designs that are in the game. They haven’t been touched in years and there are so many cooler options they can put in the game. Also why are we limited to certain colors for patterns? Should be able to have one pattern and just pick whatever colors we want on it before we stamp it on the shoe.

Two other things I’d like to see along with custom pattern colors:

1) Neon color options added (outside of RGB codes)
2) Ability to upload png over the shoe model for console. You can’t share shoes anyway so the copyright issues they had with T-Shirt maker I wouldn’t think would be an issue.

And this year they are even worse on pc, a lot of shoes have colourways that use a texture file instead of the global (which was basically the shoe editor but presets,) but they only have them for some teams and shoes, and most are just either white or black for home/away with a small patch of colour.
They have done so.much strange stuff. The coaches jackets for eg, each team has 3 but the game adds a team colour overlay so there is no need for 90+ files as 1 does the job.

To be honest I doubt it.. just like the new KDs I don't think they'll put them in until 2k26
